Laurie Piatowski A mature individual. Shiner's Wild hare pale Ale stands 9.5 inches tall and weighs 12.0001 ounces. This offering is renowned for its assertive temperament and hoppy characteristics. It has a distinguished heritage, being the product of high alpha Bravo and U.S. golding hops, as well as two-row barley malt with a blend of Munich and caramel malts. Standing at ABV: 5.5% and IBU: 32 Pours with a dark amber color, with no head at the top, maybe a little off white ring at the top that left quickly, not so much lacing, Also this beer has a sort of bitter, malt-like aroma, that smells just like it tastes Scents of bready malt, light fruity esters reminiscent of apple. The after taste is dry with a fruity sense. It's balanced in flavor and aroma, smooth and easy to drink. It's not the hoppiest or the most experimental American Pale around, nor is it the best simple pale ale, but it's good in its own way. Overall I would put this beer under the simple yet sweet, I would have the one on the occasion it was handed to me but I wouldn't buy it.
