Hey all, we talked about the closing of Catch A Rising Star Providence in Lincoln, RI previously on The Comic's Corner. We have been tracking their progress and are proud to announce that they are moving. 

RI's own Frank O'Donnell, a staple in the comedy community, will be with us in Studio on Wednesday 3/5 LIVE on the Air 8pm to discuss the changes in venue and the long figurative and literal roads his comedy has traveled.

On March First 2014, Catch A Rising Star Providence, Lincoln, closed its doors inside Twin River Casino. And just a few short days later Comic's Corner has got in touch with Frank O'Donnell who is taking the chain with him to a new location. Whether it is temporary or not, we will have to wait and see this Wednesday. As well as what plans they have for scheduling and booking opportunities as well as types of shows. 

Comedians have said farewell to the Club on their Facebook pages and some have performed there for the last time this week. Some have called in to the show to talk about management at the old club and gripes. Any club has its stories and personalities that make up the whole. Change can be a good thing and as for this move, it seems like a great thing! Comics may call in to this one to talk tl us and Frank and ask questions as well as give support. Tune on in and the phone lines will be open. 

The Comic's Corner is proud to be part of the comedy scene in Providence, RI as it grows.

Catch A Rising Star - Providence is now in Providence @ Olive's... Frank O'Donnell and Hypnotist Frank Santos will be performing their first show at Olives @10:15 this Friday night, March 7th. Come down to be hypnotized!
