Mary E. O'Connor Award-winning actor and comedian Robin Williams died Monday, in an apparent suicide. His body was found inside his Tiburon, CA home. Williams was found in the home unconscious, and it is suspected that the cause of death is asphyxia. He was last seen alive Sunday evening at 10 pm. He was 63 years old. Williams starred in more than 100 movie and television productions, initially as Mork in the 1978 sitcom Mork and Mindy, and most notably Good Will Hunting--for which he won the 1997 Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. Other great titles starring Williams include: Aladdin, Mrs. Doubtfire, Hook, The Birdcage, Patch Adams, Night at the Museum--and most recently, The Crazy Ones, a CBS sitcom which was cancelled in May. Williams' wife, Susan Schneider, said: "I lost my husband and my best friend, while the world lost one of its most beloved artists and beautiful human beings. I am utterly heartbroken." President Barack Obama commented on Williams' death, saying, "He was one of a kind. He arrived in our lives as an alien – but he ended up touching every element of the human spirit." The two former friends (or according to Nicole Richie, Paris and her former maid) attended the same function last Friday in Ibiza and made the best of what could have been an awkward situation. Paris credits herself for being responsible for the Kardashian monsoon that has taken over the media and Paris is now a ‘has been’. Who knows if this was all just for show? Even still, at least they can still put on the act and be in the same room together. Not Soul Sisters Apparently, Charlize Theron is one of those people, you know, the ones what are completely unapproachable and can’t just go with the flow when someone who annoys you says hi. Tia Mowry recently told In-Touch weekly that she and Charlize attended a SoulCycle class and said Charlize "rolled her eyes and said 'Oh my God' when Tia said hello. I realize we all can have an off day and just not be in the mood to make small talk…but this is a bit much. However, it could be a bit exaggerated since Tia told E! that the story was blown out of proportion. Voices Carry Blake Shelton and Adam Levine have been ‘frenemies’ ever since they started their tenure on “The Voice.” At first, it was cute: Two hot guys in the music biz, completely opposite personalities but hung out and poked fun of each other. Unfortunately, I think all is not well with our favorite bromance…the jokes finally became too serious. Recently, Blake insulted Adam at a concert on stage saying that “Adam's a d*****bag” and said it in way that was not meant to be taken as a joke. I guess after your former friend dumps horse manure on your pickup truck, I’d be mad too. What does he expect though? He started the chaos by tweeting Adam’s mobile phone number to the world. Maybe it’s all publicity for the upcoming season – should be interesting to say the least. Bennifer, Squared Ben Affleck has a knack for names – in particular, Jennifer. Jennifer Lopez and Jennifer Garner were in the same room together this past Sunday for a gifting suite party. Apparently, celebrities get free stuff anytime they want – not just at award shows. Coincidently, the Jennifers both went to this event and I can only imagine the tension in the room. We all know J-Lo still has it bad for Ben…he is the one that got away. To make things even more awkward, Jen Garner is rumored to be pregnant with Ben’s third child. Uptown Girl Billy Joel and Christie Brinkley are still close. Yes, they have gone on to marry other people but she will always be his Uptown Girl. This weekend, Billy serenaded Christie during his performance of the song at a concert August 7th at Madison Square Garden. Christie was thrilled, taking to Twitter to say "Billy's still got it!" Indeed, he does.
