We am return! Dan Martin Welcome back everybody! Comic's Corner is back on the airwaves and has been for a week now. We now air Wednesday nights, same night, new time, 8pm to 10pm with a two-hour time slot! We now return to News Letter format here on the blog. Below we provide links to our main page and info on upcoming shows and fun comedy and entertainment events in New England and sometimes beyond. LAST WEDNESDAY Last Week was the 2014 debut of The Comic's Corner and our first 2-hour long show! "Ramble On" host Evan McKay joined us for the duration and hung around as we talked GWAR, Moms and eventually had a Hobbit Off! Evan's Blog, Chief Calamity Of Our Time, caught Dan's attention and the results were hilarious. Click on over and help us give him the Famous CC Bump! We also spoke to Boston Comedy Festival 2013 Winner, Alingon Mitra. We discuss his comedic journey, views on writing and the extremely cool thing he did with the prize money. Tune in to episode #33 HERE and catch up on past Casts as well. THIS WEek On Comic's Corner Comedian Orlando Baxter will be joining us once again. The last time Baxter was on the line with us we were jammed up with calls and only an hour show time. Now we are back in 2014 with two whole hours and Orlando has not slowed down in any way. We look forward to catching up and introducing him to all of you. Check out his 2013 performance on Gotham from AXIS TV below. RI Comedian Mike Casey will be in studio as well. Mike recently wrote a top ten Horror list of sorts, used on two horror sites, which we hope to find out more about tonight and was appropriated by us here as well in yesterday's post, "Carrie On My Hollywood Sons." Mike will hang with us and talk comedy and horror and much more! LIVE Wednesdays at 8pm www.990wbob.com LISTEN LIVE NEXT WEEK Kurt Braunohler joins us on the phones from LA just two days before his Headlining Weekend at The Comedy Connection. January 24th and 25th. Get tickets HERE.
This is the second time Comic's Corner has run into Kurt. The first was in 2013 at the Columbus Theatre. That blog can be found HERE. |
