Ferro's Liquid Lunch: Heavy Seas Loose Cannon

Got a big July 4th party your hitting up this fine weekend? Don't be the guy who doesn't show up with beer and expect to drink all night. Grab a couple sixers of Heavy Seas Loose Cannon and be the life of the party. 

I got the chance to try a bunch of the Maryland based Heavy Seas some months back at Beervana and since then have kept going back to this awesome IPA. Loose Cannon grabs you right off the bat. The nose is a piney herb explosion. I've read that Heavy Seas packs in 3 pounds of hops per barrel on this bad boy and it shows. The hop flavor is just right for a hophead but may be a little powerful for those casual beer drinkers.

It's got a beautiful golden color and about an inch high, lasting head and great
lacing. ABV is 7.25%. Six of these will have ya feeling nice and buying them
wont break the bank.

There's also some recipes you can use this beer in that Heavy Seas gives you on
their site. One of which really caught my eye is the "Loose Cannon Corn Bread
Stuffing".
