Joe Ferro (@FranchiseFerro) Part 3 of the Liquid Lunch Shiner series starts now!! The finale in the Shiner line for me was the Shiner Bock. Well after two wonderful beers, I end this three part series sort of anticlimactically. For me anyway. The Shiner Bock has a beautiful dark copper color, good head on the pour which didn't last very long. Not much of a nose. Nice caramel toasty flavor. ABV is %4.4. But that's pretty much where it ends for me. While it is a very easy drinking beer and tasty there just wasn't anything that stood out and/or blew my mind. This just seemed like a very basic beer and somewhat uneventful. I'm going to set this beer at a Ferro Factor of 3 out of 5. All that being said if you were having a cookout and wanted something everyone could drink I'd pick up some Shiner Bock, just make sure you grab some of the Shiner "White Wing" and "Wild Hare Pale Ale" for the beer lovers at the party. This part series was a fun little taste test of a quality product line. Spoetzl Brewery is making some great beer right here in the good ole U.S of A. Check them out HERE and show them some love. Check out part 1 (Wild Hare Pale Ale) HERE And part 2 (White Wing) HERE CHEERS!!
