I am the type of guy who roots for the bad guy in a movie. Christmas movies especially. Come on tell the truth deep down inside you just wished one time, just once you'd  see a magical special never before seen edition of Home Alone where  Kevin McCallister is captured and his house robbed. Perhaps a rare screening of Elf in which Buddy is arrested, and committed for believing he's an elf.

Whether you'd like to admit it or not you do have an evil side. We all do. Even in this season. Some more than most. In fact I find Ebenezer Scrooge to be a role model for the modern work force. While you might call some guy a jackass (and not the kind that were in any mangers in Bethlehem) in traffic on the way home. For your evilest most intimate thoughts my gift to you on this holiday season. The Top 5 Christmas Villains.

#5 - The Grinch - Dr. Seuss - Who could think of a more despicable figure then the Grinch. No not Jim Carrey's horrendous rendition, the original Dr. Seuss based cartoon is whom I speak. The arch nemesis to the good people of Whoville. The ransacker of Christmas who eventually saw the good in the holiday through the warmth of a young child.

#4 - Bill Murray - Scrooged -  Everyone knows the great Charles Dickens classic A Christmas Carol. However in 1988 Bill Murray put a completely hilarious and modern  spin on the old tale. Playing a ruthless TV executive who eventually sees the errors of his ways.

#3 - The Firpo Brothers - Trapped in Paradise - 1994's holiday classic Trapped in Paradise had no shortage of star power.  Nicholas Cage played Bill Firpo and together with his brothers (Dana Carvey & Jon Lovitz) managed to turn a small town upside down on Christmas. The move is as corny as t is funny but makes for a great holiday classic.

#2 - Gremlins - They were scary, they were gross. They multiplied and destroyed. Gremlins ruined a lot more than Christmas.  Spawned from the fictional mogwai creature the Gremlins are only created after Gizmo (the mogwai) is fed after midnight or if he were to get wet. Both of which occur forming a small Gremlin army of mayhem and murder.

#1 - All Of The Other Reindeer - We all know who ran grandma over but yet there was no conviction. We all heard the whispers of the bullying poor Rudolph endured yet no one will speak publicly of these allegations. Santa over the years has had to be creative to cover up his original eight's antics. Yet something tells me in the end Rudolph may have gotten his revenge. 


More rapid than eagles his coursers they came,
And he whistled, and shouted, and call'd them by name:
