PlayStation Universe (PSU) announced the launch of its new mobile site to complement its existing, intuitive desktop experience for the core PlayStation community.
Having partnered with Marfeel Solutions, PSU now delivers a powerful reading experience on mobile, serving the latest PlayStation news, reviews and media to more than one million visitors per month. "We've heard the feedback of our PlayStation community and have sought to deliver a slicker, more intuitive way for readers to enjoy the latest PlayStation news, reviews and media via mobile," said Steven Williamson, General Manager. "Following the successful re-launch of our new-look desktop site last year, we felt it was important to quickly follow up with a better mobile solution. Working with Marfeel has been a pleasure and we're already seeing mobile traffic increase as a result of the new experience. More importantly, feedback from the PlayStation community has been extremely positive. The next stage in our transformation will be the overhaul of our long-standing forums with new software so we can provide an even better home for 200,000 dedicated subscribers." "Mobile-optimized websites are more important now than ever," said Xavi Beumala, Marfeel CEO. "In 2014 there were more mobile users than desktop users for the first time ever, and this trend is showing no sign of slowing down. Forward-thinking and user-focused websites like PSU are exactly who we look to partner with and drive us forward in our goal to optimize all websites across mobile devices."
