Hey Guys, one our favorite Comics and close friends, Tim Vargulish will be back in town for the holidays. Since we couldn't nail him down for a podcast I tapped Bruce to gather intel and post it here. Check him out while he is in town and enjoy all of the links to his various projects.
-See you out there.
-Dan M.
Tim Vargulish is a multifaceted comedian who came up in the New England scene before seeking his fortunes in LA. While he was here he ran the Jokey and Haha’s Open Mic [Mic Returns in January] with James Creelman the last Tuesday of every month. He wrote and performed sketch comedy with Ahmed Baroocha as Uncle Mustache as well as performing with the improv group Unexpected Company [now defunct] and our very own One Armed Bald Guy. In 2010 Tim served as resident comic at the World Famous Comedy Studio in 2010.

An obsession for comic books and a penchant for urban legends lead Tim to create and self-publish his first comic book series, “Goatman.” “The series follows Goatman our half goat half man hero,” Tim describes, “he travels the world fighting monsters and getting caught up in weird instances of the bizarre all while trying to learn about his past.” The series is 7 issues deep and you can get them at Rubber Chicken Comics 15 North Main Street (RT 126), Bellingham MA. Tim will be doing an in store signing there December 7 from 12pm-3pm. Comic's Corner's Moshing Maniac, Kenny Nardozza will be there as well. Go have a headbanging time with the boys!

While home Tim will be hitting up the old familiar comedy spots starting off December 6 at Great Scott 1222 Commonwealth Ave Allston MA at 7pm, moving on to The Comedy Studio 1238 Massachusetts Ave, Cambridge MA at 8pm and finishing out at Improv Boston’s Nightcap 40 Prospect St, Boston at 11:30pm.

December 7 he’ll be saying good bye to Grandma’s Basement 1271 Boylston St Boston which will be having it’s last comedy showcase, ending a 50+ year era. Finally, December 10 Tim will be joined by Dan and myself for a night of stand up at Radio 381 Somerville Ave Somerville 8pm.
