Wow I can't believe it! I finally made it through my first full hour episode of Raw Sex! I hope you all had a chance to tune in, as it was such a great show. We had a little catching up between Bobby woo woo and I, my topic of the week (the evolution of sex toys), our special guest, skank of the week, this week in sex and toy of the week!

(The evolution of sex toys.)

The sex toy has been around for ages, the oldest one was a 26, 000 year old 8 inch stone found in Germany around 2005.

From highly polished stone, they evolved to be later wrapped in leather or animal intestines.

Blow up dolls: are dated as far back as the 17th century where French sailors wrapped rags together to resemble a female body which they called the Dame De Voyage. In 1904 after vulcanized rubber was patented the rag doll became more similar to what we are familiar with today.

Vibrators came to fruition in 1869, when doctors treated females for hysteria by masturbation. Eventually their hands got tired and they complained of wrist problems leading George Taylor to invent the first steam-powered vibrator. Although this version failed to catch on, the same can’t be said of J. Granville’s 1880 ‘electrochemical’ design. Housewives went mad for them; even Good Housekeeping started running monthly reviews.

A Teacher's Assistant at the University of Iowa accidentally emailed her students a file attachment filled with her own homemade porn instead of solutions to a homework assignment. Apparently, the teacher and her boyfriend were engaging in sexual acts via an internet “chat” and those files were sent to the students, not the math problems…

Lorena Bobbitt’s birthday (Oct 31st 1970)

For those of you who don’t remember, back in June of 1993 Lorena claimed that her husband had raped her, so while he lay sleeping, she grabbed a knife, chopped off his penis, left the house in her vehicle and threw it into a field after that she called 911, the penis was found and after an almost 10 hour surgery was reattached to John Bobbit.

(The butt plug)

What originated as a medical device to aid with constipation and hemorrhoids, dating back to 1892 the butt plug comes in various shapes, lengths, diameters and colors and is designed to be inserted in the rectum for sexual pleasure. It is almost triangular shaped, with a smaller diameter tip and it widens as you get closer to the base which is flared to help avoid having the toy suctioned up into the bowels.  As with any type of anal play, lots of lube is recommended to avoid any skin tears or discomfort. Another type of plug is the fetish plug where the flange is connected to a faux animal tail, IE: bunny, fox, raccoon, etc.
