RuPaul Ch​arles has a lot to be happy about as of late. RuPaul’s Drag Race has stormed the nation, becoming one of the most loved Reality  shows in the Gay community and beyond.  His recent Emmy Nomination for best host Emmy plus two others for the show solidify his stance as a legend.​
​
There have been 100 Queens to slay the walk through the work room door. Out of those 100, 9 have won, on 9 different seasons. And some left us completely baffled, horrified even.  Of course, with any competition, there are the Ben DeLaCremes of the group... and the worst of the group. The Gia Gunns of the group, if you will.

#5. Bebe Zahara Benet 

Miss Benet was the first ever winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race. She set the standard high, pushing future queens to push the envelope and transcend realities. Her stunning wardrobe and look polished to perfection earns her the number 5 spot on the absolute Best list. 

#4. Raven

What makes Raven so apparently deserving of a spot on this list is her sheer beauty. She is the meaning of risk and romance and perfection. 

#3 Alaska Thunderf**k 5000

Alaska is undeniably, exactly who she wants to be. Her trash couture and razor sharp humor is what makes Alaska more of an all around Entertainer as opposed to a Drag Queen. Her and former boyfriend Sharon Needles were the it gay power couple, until the earth stopped working and they split up. 

#2 Bianca Del Rio

Bianca Del Rio is the funniest queen since Devine. She took the crown home on Season 6, and stole the hearts of anyone who watched her on RuPaul’s Drag Race. As a self admitted bitch, she had her soft spots too. Her all silver look to pass on the crown to Violet Chachki, season 7’s winner, was literally everything. Google it right now and bask in it. 

#1. Sharon Needles

If Sharon Needles didn’t do drag, the world would be a worse place. Her spook house look, complete with dripping blood from the mouth on runway episodes, made her unique. Her boundary pushing drag shocked the world. She is the number one queen because she is always, ALWAYS the center of every picture, every conversation she is apart of.

#5. Penny Tration

The fan voted Queen Penny Tration crashed and Burned on season 5 because of god awful padding. She wasn’t funny, or cute. Totally forgettable...

#4. Gia Gunn

What is this? Ugh. She’s terrible.

​She has no clue about the history of drag and people have placed her on the dumb list of Queens. Her looks were not innovative or groundbreaking. Though, she did walk in with the Chanel hula-hoop purse.

#3. Laganja Estranja

This young queen was crying out so loud for attention that is was sickening... in the bad way.

​As a contestant on the show, she never could just be herself. She was called out multiple times for being fake. Her looks were young and fresh, but that doesn’t make up for her total lack of self awareness or sense of self. 

#2. Dax Exclamation Point

It begins and ends with the name and poor performance during her short time on RuPaul’s Drag Race.

#1. Serena ChaCha

Arrogance and inexperience made Miss ChaCha’s run on the race painful to watch. Her babble about art school and soft sculpture made her a target for the rest of the girls. After all that shade she threw, she was one of the first to go. The shame of it all. ​
