This week's edition of The Sunday Post has a bunch of shows going on in New England that are a must go for any live music fanatic that has either heard of chowder or a clam cake. Check out what's going on below: 4/8 - 990WBOB's Mondays On Blast @ The Spot 101 Richmond Street Providence, RI This week's edition of 990WBOB's Mondays On Blast at The Spot in Providence promises to be a good one with Joe Marson, Van Donovan, Mele's Britain and The Pabst Blue Grass Boys rocking the stage. With comedy being hosted by funnyman Doug Key, a great atmosphere, wide selection of drinks, tasty food and cool pieces of art on the walls, Mondays On Blast is the perfect way to kick off your week. Along with the awesome music and comedy, it's all ages and it's also free. 4/9 - Fol Chen @ Great Scott 1222 Commonwealth Avenue Allston, MA Electro-pop band Fol Chen will be performing at Great Scott in Allston on Tuesday. Valleys will be opening up a night that's sure to be a groovy time as well. Doors are at 9pm, it's 18+ and tickets are a small $9 to check out what should be a rad show. 4/10- Downtown Boys @ Bldg. 16 If you're in to the Olneyville underground music scene then this is totally your jam. Downtown Boys, Fat Creeps, Fowl Swoops and Nightmom will be performing at Building 16 with all the proceeds going to end tip theft in Rhode Island. Show starts at 9pm, it's all ages and admission is only $6. 4/11 - PUSA @ Paradise Rock Club 967 Commonwealth Avenue Boston, MA One of the most legendary acts on the 90's in The Presidents Of The United States Of America will be performing their self-titled debut album in it's entirety at The Paradise Rock Club in Boston on Thursday. Eternal Summers and You Scream I Scream will be opening. Show starts at 9pm, it's 18+ and tickets are $20. 4/12 - Consuelo's Revenge @ The Spot 101 Richmond Street Providence, RI Consuelo's Revenge will be celebrating the release of their self-titled debut album at The Spot on Friday with Girls, Guns & Glory and Smith & Weeden joining them on stage. Doors are at 8:30, it's 18+ and tickets are $12 which includes a copy of the record. 4/13 - Brown Folk Festival Simmons Quad & Sales Hall, Brown University Providence, RI Great acts like Vudu Sister, Gill Moss, The Sugar Honey Iced Tea, The Mighty Good Boys and Tallahassee will be performing at The Brown Folk Festival this year. The festivities start at 12 noon and the whole thing is free and all ages.
