This week's edition of The Sunday Post has a bunch of shows going on in New England that are a must go for any live music fanatic that has either heard of chowder or a clam cake. Check out what's going on below: 2/18 - 990WBOB's Mondays On Blast @ The Spot 101 Richmond Street Providence, RI This week's edition of 990WBOB's Mondays On Blast at The Spot in Providence promises to be a good one with Jillian Stellar, Fried Miracle, Cannibal Ramblers and The Washingtons rocking the stage. With comedy being hosted by funnyman Doug Key, a great atmosphere, wide selection of drinks, tasty food and cool pieces of art on the walls, Mondays On Blast is the perfect way to kick off your week. Along with the awesome music and comedy, it's also free. 2/19 - Bad Books @ The Sinclair 52 Church Street Cambridge, MA Bad Books featuring prolific singer-songwriter Kevin Devine and the members of the indie rock group Manchester Orchestra will be performing at The Sinclair in Cambridge, MA on Tuesday for what should be a very good show. The Front Bottoms and Weatherbox will be opening up the show, doors are at 6:30pm, it's all ages and tickets are $18 at the door. 2/20 - Spirit Family Reunion @ Columbus Theatre 270 Broadway Providence, RI One of the hottest folk bands out there today, Spirit Family Reunion will be performing at the intimate upstairs stage of The Columbus Theatre in Providence on Wednesday. Dylan Lucas Block-Harley will be kicking the night off at 9pm, show is 18+ and 21+ to drink and tickets are $15 to listen to awesome music that will make you jump out of your seat and go absolutely crazy. 2/21 - Vudu Sister @ Dusk 301 Harris Avenue Providence, RI Lead by the enigmatic guitarist and vocalist Keith McCurdy and the amazing skills on drums by Alexander Garzone along with Damien Puerini on lead guitar and Keith's dad Chris on bass, Vudu Sister is bound to blow the roof off of Dusk on Thursday. Boston's Banditas, Dead Cats Dead Rats and Tyler-James Kelly from The Silks will be opening, show starts at 9pm, its 21+ and tickets are TBA. 2/22 - The Fabulous Itchies @ Local 121 121 Washington Street Providence, RI Providence garage rock legends The Fabulous Itchies will be tearing it up at the The Speakeasy located downstairs at Local 121 on Friday, a show that was supposed to go on a couple weeks ago but due to our buddy Nemo the show got postponed. Post-everything rock & rollers Ravi Shavi and punk rock duo Party Pigs will be on the bill as well. This shindig starts at 10:30, it's 21+ and the cover is TBA, come down for genuine rock & roll that's the best way to kick off your weekend. 2/23 - The Dirty Heads & Shiny Toy Guns @ Lupo's Heartbreak Hotel 79 Washington Street Providence, RI Mellow reggae rockers The Dirty Heads and electrifying synth-poppers Shiny Toy Guns will be performing at Lupo's Heartbreak Hotel in Providence on Saturday as part of their Tour Odyssey. Midi Matilda and Oh No Fiasco will be opening starting at 6:45pm so get there early. It's 18+, tickets are $22.50 in advance, $25 the day of and $35 for a VIP pass.
