WATCH: Who is Trevor Noah?

The internet exploded Monday following news that Jon Stewart's replacement as host of the Daily Show had been named. While household names such as Tina Fey or Aziz Ansari had been tossed around ad nauseam, Stewart's chair will be going to a relative unknown.

Meet Trevor Noah. A 31-year old born in South Africa who signed on as a Daily Show correspondent in December 2014.  Though he has only appeared in a handful of segments, it was clear that he was intelligent, confident, and most importantly -- hilarious.
