By Chad Hoyle (@chadillacgrilz) Few shows in the history of television have been so universally embraced that their series finales became collective viewer experiences worldwide. Even fewer finales are regarded by viewers as the perfect way to conclude a well-loved and critically successful series.
AMC’s Breaking Bad, which ended its remarkable five-season run last night, will be forever lauded as the exception to the trend of disappointing finales. The final episode managed to end each main character’s story arc the most satisfying way possible, and cemented the show’s legacy as one of the finest in the history of television- no small feat for a program centered on drugs, murder, deceit, corruption, and power.
To humanize these individuals, for society to understand that there is much more to these women and their struggle besides sex, helps us understand their world. These sex workers were once children, daughters, friends, moms and wives.
By Dan Martin Hey all! Welcome back to another edition of Comedy On Us. This is volume 5. September is winding to a close and It has been a great month back, both on the airwaves and off. Take a look below for what we have coming up and what we've been up to.
-See you out there. By Rob Duguay In the next millennium when history books are written about this crazy time in human history, Deer Tick will go down as one of a group of bands that made genuine rock & roll relevant during a time where uneducated and ignorant hip-hop, annoyingly catchy pop music and douchebag bro-rock invaded radio airwaves and television screens across America. When futuristic humans turn the page to how Providence's favorite sons managed to blow up stages and light up skies all across the world, they will read about people shouting to classics like "Ashamed" and jumping like a pogo stick to anthems like "Easy". Today a new chapter in Deer Tick's acclaimed story unfolds with Negativity, the band's new album that at times is dark and spooky, triumphant and emphatic as well as being hard hitting and honest. Flat out, if you can't relate to a single track off of Negativity you're either an asshole or someone who hasn't had the misfortune of experiencing true reality.
I think we can all agree that anal sex isn't for everyone... BUT we can also agree that you don't know if it's enjoyable, UNTIL you've at least tried it. Whether you are a male or a female, the high concentration of nerve endings in the anus, paired with the fact that it is an erogenous zone and we all love to toil in the world of the taboo, can lead us to some mind blowing orgasms.
By Rob Duguay It's not everyday when two incredible musical forces of different styles come together to make a spectacular album, but when it happens it's surely something special. Rock & roll virtuoso Elvis Costello and quintessential hip-hop band The Roots have an album out today titled Wise Up Ghost, and it's a great fusion of groovy street beats and Costello's velvety r&b tinged voice that creates a purely amazing sound. So many dimensions come into play, you never really know what to expect with each track but that's what makes Wise Up Ghost even more enjoyable. When it comes to quality and perfection, Wise Up Ghost has a shot to be one of the top albums of 2013 and rightfully so. When the likes of Elvis Costello and The Roots get together, would you expect anything less?

By Rob Duguay The heart of the blues is all about letting loose of what ails you, being able to groove and be smooth while doing it. If there is a band that epitomizes what the blues is all about, you don't have to look any further than The Silks from Providence. The power trio consisting of Jonas Parmelee on bass, Matthew Donnelly on drums lead by Tyler-James Kelly on electric guitar and vocals have been ripping up the music scene in The Creative Capital for a while now. They are releasing their debut album Last American Band this week and it's truly something special. Rock & roll soul capped off with Tyler's howling voice encompasses The Silks' infectious sound and you're bound to do the boogie woogie.
