Dan Martin Hey there folks. One of my favorite local bands and friends, Senior Discount, released a new CD/DVD combo pack. It has been a while since the boys have released a physical album and they have a newer line up. The event for the album release was this past Wednesday, I have had the CD for less than 24 hours and haven't been able to stop listening. I am proud to be a part of this release, how am I involved you ask? Good question...
Pal - Pal@990WBOB.com Last month Image Comics released their ten year anniversary edition of the original Walking Dead comic. The day after Thanksgiving, is affectionately referred to as Black Friday. The singular most important shopping day of the year. Deals galore. "Shop early and save!" Normal rational humans acting completely the opposite waiting in endless lines at ungodly hours, in frigid temperatures. All for the "unbeatable" sale prices. Shameful, who does this? As I await in this desolate park lot full of bargain zombies I have compiled for your pleasure my top five list this week. The subject. Fridays By Joe Ferro @FranchiseFerro Beer. A lovely beverage we may tend to take for granted these days. Sure we all love to crack one when we get out of work and sit back and relax but what do you truly know about beer? By Rob Duguay Just walk in any music venue or by any downtown street corner in Providence and chances are you’re going to get up close and personal with The Creative Capital’s burgeoning Americana scene. A band that has quickly become one of the most popular attractions in Providence, The Mighty Good Boys are releasing their debut album It Ain’t Easy this week and it’s Appalachian style folk with a New England twang. When you press play, you’re gonna crack one open, bob your head and before you know it you’ll be cutting a rug. With rhythms and lyrics that are catchy and full of energy, the new album from The Mighty Good Boys will have you jumping for joy.
