Check out who we got coming to play next Monday:
Tammy Laforest: One of the premier singer-songwriters in Providence's illustrious music scene, Tammy Laforest and her wonderful voice will captivate you right from the start. It's always refreshing when you see a musician be able to leave a lasting impression on you just by singing and strumming an acoustic guitar, and Tammy is guaranteed to do just that this Monday at The Spot. Malyssa BellaRosa: Lead singer of Providence rock & roll band Fall & Bounce as well as no stranger to playing Mondays On Blast and being on the 990WBOB internet airwaves, Malyssa BellaRosa is a woman of many talents and especially when it comes to playing music. An amazing singer-songwriter along with being able to catch you off guard by playing her unique renditions of covers like Nirvana's "Pennyroyal Tea". Always a pleasure to see live and hear her magnificent tunes, Malyssa will intoxicate you with her lyrics and leave you begging for more.
Grace Morrison & The RSO: Boston indie-folk act Grace Morrison & The RSO bring original covers and covert originals to the stage with the accessible acoustic sounds of Marta Rymer’s violin, Ben Moniz and Grace Morrison’s guitars and Max Judelson on upright bass. Sweet vocal harmonies and exciting string arrangements of popular R & B, classic rock, folk and original tunes keep the house moving even when the electricity goes out.
The Custies: Bluesy Reggae Jam band The Custies will be closing out the night for a performance that is guaranteed to make you dance. Their infectious rhythms and beats will have you shaking your hips and cutting a rug in no time, along with blistering guitar solos that will electrify your soul. It's going to be a great night of harmonies and melodies for the ears, so definitely stick around for these guys.
