The Playbook #16 03/06/24 - Tonight on The Playbook we have the pleasure to have Todd McGuinness, the Head Coach of the Case Western Reserve University Men's Basketball team. This team has had a tremendous season thus far as they head into the Sweet Sixteen in the NCAA Division III Tournament. How will they fare against the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and how can they stop their dominant offense? Can this team find a way to make it to the Elite Eight and beyond?
We also recap the past three Bryant basketball games and take a look at their America East Quarterfinals match-up against Maine this Saturday. Can the Bulldogs pull this off and make it to the semi finals? And how about them Celtics? Are they future champions, or are they just POSERS?! We discuss all that and more here on The Playbook!

I'm Dunn With Sports 03/06/24 - For this week's presentation of I'm Dunn With Sports, Erik starts off with a very surprising topic: Matthew Slater officially announces his retirement from the Pats and the NFL after a 16 year career and he breaks down what he meant to Patriots Nation as a player and member of the New England Community. Next, Erik goes to the Providence Bruins splitting their weekend with beating the Springfield Thunderbirds and losing to the Hartford Wolf Pack while previewing this weekend's rematch with these two teams giving Providence a shot at redemption to take back the loss they suffered.
After that, Erik goes to the Boston side of the Bruins who still can't figure out how to win past regulation against the Seattle Kraken, winning an absolute nail-biter over former Head Coach Bruce Cassidy and his Vegas Golden Knights, and getting slaughtered against the New York Islanders while previewing a REALLY TOUGH March with the playoffs on the horizon. Finally, Erik finishes with A LOT of positivity due to how the Celtics can't be stopped AT ALL due to extending their winning streak to 11 while making some unexpected history along the way. E-Scoop #35 02/28/24 - Tonight’s show was a bit different for Mad Mel, joined by Cherie Cruz, state rep from Pawtucket and one of the members of ReClaim RI, amidst a housing crisis, and almost half the state being renters, another portion of these renters are also dealing with slum lords that refuse to maintain their properties and refuse to ensure safe living conditions.
Listen in as they discuss the organization of RI’s first tenant union, why it’s so important for land lords to be held accountable for the properties that they are renting and how you can become part of an important movement in the state. Producer Fox joins us for the second half of the show as we discuss some NFL action. We also have Nick Coit on to discuss some local college hoops. At the bottom of the second hour, we have college coaching legend Glen Miller on the show to discuss his team, Saint Joseph's CT's, NCAA Tournment run. I'm Dunn With Sports 02/28/24 - For this week's presentation of I'm Dunn With Sports, Erik recaps the Providence Bruins sweeping their weekend with an Overtime AND Shootout win against the Cleveland Monsters as well as a nail-biting victory against the Springfield Thunderbirds while looking ahead to tilts in March.
Then, Erik goes to the Boston side to recap the B's splitting their week by getting a Shootout win on Presidents' Day against the Dallas Stars, an Overtime win over the Edmonton Oilers but then back-to-back OT losses to the Calgary Flames and Vancouver Canucks while looking at their end of the month matchups. I'm Dunn With Sports 02/21/24 - For this week’s presentation of I’m Dunn With Sports, Erik starts off with the Providence Bruins still the #2 Seed in the Eastern Conference even with splitting their weekend by losing in the final minute to the Bridgeport Islanders and shutting out the Hartford Wolf Pack.
Next, Erik goes to the Boston side and for some particular reason, the B’s can’t find a way to win in February as they lost in the Shootout to the Tampa Bay Lightning, got blasted by the Seattle Kraken, and blew the lead 3 times to lose in Overtime again to the L.A Kings. After that, Erik goes to the Celtics cruising into the All-Star Break STILL with the NBA’s best record at 43-12 with winning a back to back series with the Brooklyn Nets. Finally, Erik wraps up with WWE’s Elimination Chamber and gives his predictions on the entire card. The Playbook #14 02/21/24 - Tonight on The Playbook we have the privilege of speaking with the Head Coach of the 25-0 Rhode Island College Women's Basketball team, Coach Jenna Cosgrove. Now that the regular season is over, it's time for this team to start what will hopefully be a deep tournament run. How can this team handle the pressure and hopefully make an NCAA Tournament run? What is the strategy for tomorrow's match-up against Eastern Connecticut?
We also have the dashing Scott Rotondo on the program for our second segment when we talk about the oh so depressing Boston Red Sox ownership group. What is this team doing and why won't they continue their spending ways to win. We discuss all that and more tonight on The Playbook. The Rotunda #405 02/21/24 - This episode has a little of everything, as I discuss the latest developments in Europe and one candidate's message about their support - or lack thereof - for the alliance. Also, don't you find it odd that one candidate gets peppered with concerns over his age, and another candidate seems to get a pass. Why is that? All this gets explored in the first segment.
Next up is our very own pro soccer team - Rhode Island Football Club! I'm going to list out the reasons some of us have concerns about the stadium - but also why it is imperative that we support our new team. Our special guest tonight is Rayna Rokicki, host of the You Betcha She Did! podcast, as well as the leader of Ladies First Digital Media Company. She's going to chat with us about why it is so important that you start building your brand on YouTube, regardless what other platforms you are on, and how to keep your content fresh! Be sure to click in and give this a listen and a like! Undercover Blues #150 2/19/24 - Chuck Finley here and we're bringing you fresh Blues and news you can use all the time. Join us Monday nights at 9PM for the best in music and entertainment on Undercover Blues 990WBOB.com. If you missed the show don’t worry, catch our past casts from all our great hosts.
