Wild Side #380 1/22/2019 - Tonight, Tyler is joined by 'Mr. 401' himself Ben DeCastro to talk about what happened on Martin Luther King Jr. Day in Rhode Island. With temperatures below freezing (32*F), only 1 shelter was open in the city of Providence. Was this poor planning on the city or something else? Also joining in the first segment of the show is RI Red Radio's own Allan Giberti to talk about what is going on down at the Lincoln Memorial with the students of Covington Catholic School and how it's a microcosm of today's political scene.
And apparently RI Governor Gina Raimondo believes that Rhode Island college students should get free food to help offset juggling tuition, work, etc.. Is she trying to help out or is there an ulterior method? You decide.
RI Red Radio #20 1/21/19 - It’s Martin Luther King Day and joining Allan tonight will be Dr. Alveda King to talk about the civil rights movement and how the protests and demonstrations of today are not motivated by the same teachings and inspirations that MLK followed and Dr King talk about the frenzied legislative push for women's reproductive rights... or as the rest of us call it, abortion.
Allan also weighs in on Gina Raimondo's proposed $10 billion budget, the government shutdown and President Trump’s new offer to the Chuck and Nancy, BuzzFeed’s latest fake news and the special council’s response and of course Gillette. Of course the temptation is to great for Allan to pass up a critique of Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi mind numbing performance on Friday and breaks down what is holding up the government shutdown. You’ll have to tune in to find out, but whatever it is, it doesn't begin with the word President.
You’re not going to want to miss this!
