Derelict Dummies #256 6/11/18 - Well there was a party of a show for sure. The guys did an old fashion Dummies’ segment show starting with some views on Robert De Niro’s "fuck Trump" on live TV at the Tony Awards and a tribute to Anthony Bourdain who tragically took his own life (and some of our dreams). Next up was an in depth view of sand (yes like in beach sand) and how it has become an economic commodity with both environmental and criminal implications. The North Korean summit was discussed briefly as well. Then it was a special Ain’t Got Time for This Shit segment where the derelict duo was joined by WBOB personalities Ferro and Scott Rotondo and Buttonwood’s brewery owner Morgan for a lively and brief roundtable on the day’s most pressing news stories.

Derelict Dummies #255 6/4/18 - After many years of absence from the 990WBOB broadcasts, the Dummies pal Tovah stopped in studio for a visit and to chat about a few topics. First the group gave their impressions on the Star Wars box office flop; Solo. Kris and Bob came to defense of Ron Howard’s reshoot and felt as though the intended origin story was told. Then it was on to RI politics and the latest idiot who is incompetent but a hired political hack. Also national politics were discussed pertaining to the ongoing Mueller investigation and Trump’s “self pardon” theory. As always there was allot of humor and some pretty good tunes to boot. Enjoy.
Derelict Dummies #254 5/14/18 - The stoned ponies had in studio guests; Dave Laros and Vic Foley from the band Blackletter join them for some banter and performance of an as yet to be recorded song called Jezebel. Besides the intimate and cool song performance, the entire panel got into a lively discussion of the Hagar vs. Roth in Van Halen debate. As usual topics of the day opened the show with discussions on the demise of capitalism and what looks to these derelicts as WW3 on the horizon, but in the end time ran out leaving you wanting just a little bit more. Get out the earbuds and enjoy.
Derelict Dummies #253 5/7/18 - The Derelicts welcomed Neutral Nation drummer Stumpy for a few segments covering the history of the RI Music Hall of Famers’ long history. Not only did they cover the band’s various recordings and documentary film (Its A Bash) but they also listened to some exclusive tracks recorded in the band’s secret headquarters. It’s a love fest of city history worth a listen.
The Rotunda #149 4/30/18 - Take a stroll through baseball nostalgia, while enjoying a conversation with noted RI author and baseball historian Rick Harris. Rick shares his passion for America’s Pastime and even shares some stories about Rhode Island’s unique connection to the game. When you hear his story about Hall of Famer (and native Rhode islander) Nap Lajoie, you may have a tear in your eye. And in a very special second segment, Scott has his daughter Hannah call in to talk about her journey with scoliosis and what she is doing to help raise awareness of the condition.
As if that’s not enough – peace breaks out in Korea! The whole political apple cart in Rhode Island gets toppled over as the most powerful politician in the state has to cover his flank! You won’t have any odd news stories this go-round – Scott does you one better and has Derelict Dummies co-host bob Giusti sit in, for a fitting bookend to the first segment with Scott and Chris Casci. What kind of beer does Scott like, and why? Check this out and find out! Derelict Dummies #251 4/23/18 - It was all music in this episode with guests Eric Shane from Eric and the Nothing and former talk radio producer Nick Costa’s new project What Happened. Two very different genres of music debuting their latest recorded efforts. Dummy Bob Giusti is the drummer for Eric and Dummy Kris and yet even mild roasting was avoided.
Derelict Dummies #249 4/9/18 - You all know them. Those stories you’ve heard for years. Alice Cooper played Eddie Haskel, Mikey OD’d on Coke and Pop Pocks and Elvis married Big Foot.
The guys go list hunting in this episode with an examination of popular myths from our culture. Nothing is provable and that gives these dummies a pure license to ill. As in all of their ponderous nonsense, the truth is just a means to a laugh. You definitely should put this on your earbuds at work and get paid to piss your pants. Derelict Dummies #248 4/2/18 - The theme in this installment of Derelict Dummies is the net worth of some of histories biggest rock and roll stars. From the richest (Sir Paul McCartney) to the less rich (Eddie Van Halen) the deranged duo commented like only they can, aided and abetted by good smoke and beverages. Also a small segment on “Messages from God” where the fellas contemplated a god that talked in their sleep and that blurted nonsensical pearls of wisdom, much like these Dummies do every Monday for an hour. Smile content warning on this episode is 11.
Wild Side #347 3/27/2018 - Tyler and Bob breakdown and discuss the Million Lives March as well as how effective it was. Not to mention the recent trend among those on the Left to essentially repeal the 2nd Amendment as well as the Austin Bomber, including how the police were able to catch the bomber based off what he was purchasing for materials and where he was purchasing them, the debate on whether or not skin color was the basis of how he was portrayed in the media.
This week's featured guests included Joe Newby from Conservative Firing Line to discuss today's youth and our society. Along with Johnny K who pulls in to give his two cents talks about the recent student walkouts about gun control. The show wraps up with WBOB contributor and R.I. Liberatarian Party member Tony Jones to talk about a bill that'll be presented during November elections. On that bill, it would essentially decriminalize marijuana as well as allow it to be taxable and put the age limit of accessibility to either 18 or 21. Not to mention that he talks about RI gubernatorial candidate Giovanni Feroce and his chances as a 3rd party candidate for the upcoming RI Governor election in November. Does an independent candidate have a chance to win? Tony discusses. Derelict Dummies 3/26/18 #247 - This week, Bob and Kris give their insight on the “March For Our Lives” and how the youth of today can help shape the future by acts like this. The Dummies also explain how the chemicals in our food are ruining our bodies causing a more unhealthy America.
