The Car Grumps #9 01/12/21- This episode of Car Grumps is all about the future and the future is 2021. Do we need to worry? Great question. Everything is going electric, car shows are still being canceled, but they keep saying everything is good, so we're going to touch base with our experts to see if that's the reality or do we need to start making moves now?

You can check him out at his Instagram Second we have Steven Howitt, Massachusetts State Representative. He represents the 4th Bristol County District. Are they getting canceled, are they going ahead? Will we have anything to see! By the end of the show you should know if this year will stink or will it be the recovery we all need it to be! The Car Grumps #8 12/15/20 - Importing cars is nothing new. In fact, it started well before the '80's when drivers were looking to get unique vehicles not allowed in the domestic market. That all changed when the feds cracked down on them and made a law preventing their importation. That was pre-'90s when suddenly Japan started to make some insane cars that are still cherished today... unfortunately they were never allowed in the United States. Still the concept of owning something unique and special, such as the Nissan Skyline, was strong. It got worse when the Fast and the Furious came out, it became a feeding frenzy for Skylines.
Even though importation gained traction its pitfalls came to bear. Importation started to become a scary concept filled with unknowns, shady men that worked at the docs that didn't follow the rules, and the feds that wanted to tow any car that didn't meet every little requirement a year after you took delivery. Yet there was a light at the end of the tunnel. The feds put in a loophole that vehicles over 25 years old matured and no longer needed to follow some strict importation rules, which meant importing them was completely legal and a lot easier! But that brought its own list of unknowns that raised blood pressures of potential owners to heart attack level. In short, it was still a scary foreign unkown. So today we talk to the experts. Someone who has imported 4 cars, someone who sells all the imports, and finally someone who repairs and upkeeps imports! Once the show is over you should know if importing a car is the right thing for you! First up is Donny Fisher, that has owned multiple imports, we'll go over what he's owned. Next is Derek Griffith of Northeast Auto Imports (IG northeastautoimports)) that has imported hundreds of cars through his business and can tell us what we'll need as a buyer Lastly we have Chris McQuaid of Function Automotive that repairs and upkeeps hundreds of import vehicles and specializes in fixing Skylines at functionautomotive.net Also don't miss the big drag race. The top 4 cars will go head to head and it will come down to 2 that will face off for the championship! Head over to facebook.com/cargrumps to vote! We also want to wish everyone a happy holiday and let you know we'll see you next year!!! Also, we want to say if you plan to buy a gift, our sizes are V8, 5.7 liter, and 350 cubic inches. The Car Grumps #7 12/1/20- On this episode, Primo and CaddiMatt will be discussing a controversial topic to many. For some street racing stirs visions of video game like antics performed on desolate city streets, glamorized by movies and social media coverage alike. To others it's a way of life that is no more dangerous than walking to the corner store. Some of these back-street drivers play with big money on handshake rules for titles that will last for only a night. A perfect example of a system based on "what have you done for me lately" as each night they defend their imaginary crowns. Some have even made this insanity a career.
The question is, is this as wide-spread and dangerous as it's made out to be? We'll try and answer all these questions and debunk some of the claims. The Car Grumps also talk with Chris Rankin, leader of Team Northeast from the show Street Outlaws on the Discovery Channel. Chris has made it a profession to take his world record holding 2,350 hp Chrysler Conquest down streets and strips to prove he's the fastest. Chris has taken what many do as a hobby and shown how far it can actually go and we'll ask him where that finish line is... if there ever is one. It's going to be fast, it's going to be heated, and most of all it's going to be grumpy. Don't be left behind. The Car Grumps #6 11/17/20- On this episode The Car Grumps ask, what is the best racing series? They break down our favorites, then have some guests on that have had a winning season this year and see what they think about racing, their experiences and you can decide for yourself, which racing is the best!
First up is Derek Griffith of Chad Bryant Racing that races late model stock cars and ARCA. He talks about what the season has been like for him and what is in store down the road. Up next, Shawn Cannon, team member of Turner Motorsports, comes on to talk about their amazing season, their ups and downs and what it's like to be a part of a pit crew for a winning GT team! Last but not least Franchise Joe Ferro joins the crew to discuss what racing series has the most likes on social media and finally discuss the Car Grumps Drag Race and who is currently winning! It's a packed show tonight you won't want to miss! So light the tree and burn the tires, it's on!!! The Car Grumps #5 10/20/20 - Few people have changed the face of the car world as much as Craig Lieberman has. Craig was the technical director for the first two Fast and Furious movies. You would be hard pressed to live in the car world and not know the impact this movie had, both positive and negative. Craig was at the core of the positive success of these movies and could easily be called the catalyst by which we see cars today.
A little while back Craig found a ton of things associated with the movie, basically hiding in his attic, and it prompted him to write the book Crashing Cars: How a Motion Picture Franchise Turned it into Art. He has since started an Instagram page and a Youtube channel bearing his name that he constantly posts content to, that go hand in hand with the book and answer all the questions any die hard fan would have! Many people ask about the cars and why scenes were a certain way and if you want that stuff Craig discusses it at length on his various social media platforms as well as his website. Instead today we want to ask where he got his passion for cars from and how they came about. In the second half we ask where Craig thinks the future of cars and cars movies will be down the road. We'll also have important announcements about our online drag race and our Toys 4 Tots car show happening soon!!! It's a great show and you won't want to miss it! The Rotunda #259 10/19/20 - Cranston Mayor Allan Fung talks with us tonight about the course that he has steered for the City of Cranston during his administration. We also talk about how he might have handled the pandemic differently and, what's his next move?
We've heard a lot about kids who, unfortunately, lose their parents in the line of doing their job duties. Fortunately, there's an organization that is doing a great job helping these kids towards better lives. Ken Martino from Kids Chance Inc is here for the second segment to tell us all about the mission. Rounding out the show we have Matt from our very own Car Grumps to talk about the Toys for Tots campaign - this year, more so than any other in recent memory, we need to make sure that NO CHILD goes without something under their tree this holiday season. Mixed in with all of this I give you my thoughts on the world, such that is is, so please listen in and then give this a like! The Car Grumps #4 10/06/20 - You've purchased vehicle and you're considering what to do with it? Do you keep it stock or do you throw money into upgrading it to see it lose money?
