Also, we now have a COVID vaccine being distributed - what are the ethical concerns about whether or not someone can be mandated to take it? And locally, what does our GA have against DCYF, and can someone, anyone tell me what the pause was supposed to accomplish - cause I sure cannot make good sense out of it. This and other topics are all in here, please give this a listen and a like!

The Rotunda #194 5/13/19 - Friend of the show Chad Michael calls in for the second segment, as he and Scott debate a hot issue that has now become scorching hot: should men be able to weigh in on women's reproductive health rights? The lively back and forth includes a comparison between religious views and whether or not religion should even play a part in the debate. Regardless if you are pro-choice or pro-life, this is a great listen.
Scott also takes Alyssa Milano to task for her proposed sex strike, and tries to get to the bottom of it - what, really, is her point? We also hear about the Red Sox trip to the White House and the potential team discord it's produced, and a refreshing take on millennial and socialism. In the closing segment, Pal joins the show for a two-fold purpose: to remind our listeners about the Uncle Dave Radiothon, and to, of course, put Scott in his place. The Rotunda #172 10/29/18 - Local artist/actor Chad Michael visits The Rotunda to talk about the synagogue shooting and the bomb threats that provide even more visual proof that our nation is tearing itself apart right now. How did we get here? Can we ever talk things out with people who think different than us politically again? Also, what does Char have in store for 2020?
Jackie Zukerman-Delory, social media and marketing entrepreneur form Boston, is featured in the third segment, sharing the challenges and the rewards of being your own boss, and building a company from the ground up! This is required listening for anyone seeking to become self-employed, or who has any preconceived notions on management. In the first segment, apparently the Red Sox won a championship, or something – but managed to snub one of the cornerstones of their historic 2004 team in the process! How could this happen, and why? Scott and Allan discuss that in the first segment, as well as what NOT to do on social media when running for statewide office. The Rotunda #153 6/4/18 - Carolyn Medeiros is the featured this week, talking about her efforts to keep an admitted sexual predator and child rapist away from the public. You will be shocked to hear the risks that we are subjected to in the interests of HIPPA and privacy when it comes to predators. Avid motorcyclist Chad Michael also calls in to discuss safety issues that affect car/ truck drivers as well as motorcyclists. This is especially topical right now, as ‘bike season’ is in full effect!
Social Justice hypocrites get an overdue tongue lashing in the first segment, as Scott lays out his feelings in Samantha Bee, Sally Field – and then he sets his eyes on the gender wage gap! And did he…….really……suggest a Nobel Peace Prize for President Trump?!?!? The Rotunda #140 2/19/18- In what has to be one of the funniest episodes of The Rotunda on record, Scott is joined by WBOB founder Pal for his first segment, and the results are nothing short of awesome. Scott waxes nostalgic about places he took old dates and what exactly has caused him to go from all-around nice guy to the grumpy curmudgeon we hear on some shows. Pal even sticks around as Scott lays out his issues with this week’s Social Justice Jerkoff of the week, and at the halfway point local actor and correspondent Chad Michael lights up the airwaves with his rather ingenious solution to the gun epidemic that America is facing. This is something that’s sure to upset the left and the right but when you hear it, sounds like the most common sense way to avoid the unspeakable tragedies of the sort that we witnessed in Florida.
The funny news segment even takes a turn – can it be that POTUS lands himself in the funny news segment for the first time ever? Listen in and see for yourself! The Rotunda #134 1/8/18 - WBOB kicks off 2018 in grand style, welcoming The Rotunda back to the airwaves after the holiday break. Scott introduces a new special segment he’s starting, called “Social Justice Clown of the Week” and brings us the first two dubious winners. Give a listen and see if you agree that two Hollywood actors said things so utterly stupid that they earned themselves this award. Scott’s also joined by local actor Chad Michael – what does an actor know about health care you say? Chad gives us his thoughts on what he’d like to see for national healthcare, what it would cover, and most importantly to Scott- how the hell would this be paid for?
Major Matt Fecteau chimes in at the halfway point, and he pulls no punches lighting up his potential opponent in the September primary, calling out what he says is an absentee politician. This is a prelude to an upcoming show where we dive deep into the details of what a potential State Senator Fecteau would do in order to make things better for Rhode Islanders. For good measure, the guest and the host take turns poking holes in President Trump’s ill-fated commission on voter fraud. When, in electoral history, has a winner ever been so laser focused on uncovering voter fraud? Listen in and let Scott know your thoughts! The Rotunda #129 11/13/17 - In a coup for The Rotunda, Scott has a conversation with up and coming local actor and artist Chad Michael, who caused quite a stir in the social media world this week with his opinion on the sexual misconduct that’s been coming to light lately in Hollywood. What did he say that caused a firestorm? Tune in and find out, and decide for yourself!
Halfway thought the show, The Rotunda gets invaded by The Franchise! Joe and Morgan storm onto the set and have an interview with Sixpoint Brewing’s Kier Hamilton. Any beer aficionado DEFINITELY wants to hear what he has to say about all the awesome offerings Sixpoint has on the docket. Scott, Ferro, and beer – what could possibly go wrong?!?!?! |
