Psycho Sports #246 12/12/2017 - It was not pretty this past Monday night down in Miami. Just after two weeks of crushing the Dolphins in Foxborough, the Patriots were beaten and beaten soundly. Tyler and Ryan recap the game as they try to figure out what went wrong. Was it the inability of Patriots wide receivers not being able to run routes? Did the absence of TE Rob Gronkowski hurt the Pats more than we imagined? The duo break that down as well as preview the upcoming key match up against the Pittsburgh Steelers next week.
Also joining the duo is Mark Colley of SB Nation Blue Jays to talk about the big trade that happened in Major League Baseball as Miami Marlins slugger Giancarlo Stanton is now a New York Yankee. Who was the winner in this trade? Was it foolish for the Yankees to take on that massive contract? Should the Yankees be penciled in for the AL East Divisional championship and World Series? Mark and Tyler discuss that and more.
Psycho Sports #245 12/5/2017 - Well the good news is that the New England Patriots won this past Sunday over the Buffalo Bills. However the only thing that everybody is talking about is Pats TE Rob Gronkowski's cheap shot on Bills CB Tre'davious White during the game. Was there any intent to hurt White? Was it just a 'heat of the moment' ordeal? How will this affect the Pats going forward in their Week 14 match-up against the Miami Dolphins? Tyler and Ryan discuss and debate on the matter.
Also joining the duo is Tim Cato of SB Nations NBA to talk about the going-ons during the NBA. Which NBA rookies are making a name for themselves? Can the Oklahoma City Thunder, with all that talent on their roster, salvage their season before it becomes a disaster? How will the Steph Curry ankle injury affect the Golden State Warriors? Which team(s) or player(s) have been the most pleasant surprise? Tim answers those questions plus a few more.
And of course, it's not a complete episode without some Boston Red Sox talk. Which positions should be the focus for the Red Sox? What are some names to keep an eye on? Tyler, Ryan, and even David Clyde weigh in on the matter.
Psycho Sports #244 11/28/17 – In this hour of sports, insanity has hit the show. News broke that Eli Manning of the New York Giants was benched, which has Ryan screaming for GM Jerry Reese and HC Ben MacAdoo’s head and vehemently blaming them for Eli’s struggles this season (warning NSFW language). Though Tyler disagrees with the benching, he dropped the hot take saying that Eli is a below average NFL starting quarterback. Tyler stated he could name 16 other better starting QBs (even though he's yet to name all 16 QBs though), which brought the Pal on air to defend Eli Manning.
Also with this past game with Miami Dolphins, is it easy to say that the New England Patriots are far and above the best team in the NFL right now? Or are the Dolphins that bad? Tyler and Ryan have a hearty discussion on that matter.
Joining the show first is Jake Marrocco of the Independent to breakdown the upcoming big college basketball game between URI and PC. Which team has the advantage this time around? Which player is going to be an impact? Jake answers those questions plus more that Tyler tosses his way.
Then towards the end, they are joined by John Boccacino of SB Nation Buffalo Bills to give an insight of the Buffalo Bills before the upcoming Bill-Pats game this Sunday. What was the locker room like after the benching of starting QB Tyrod Taylor for Nate Peterman and then the loss to the LA Chargers in Week 11? Did the victory over the Chiefs change people’s perspective about the Bills team? How has the defense fared since the trade of DT Marcell Darius during the NFL trade deadline? John and Tyler discuss that and more.
Psycho Sports #243 11/21/17 - It's that special time of the year in sports. Thanksgiving is around the corner and if you're in Boston, you are very thankful because a lot of your sports teams are doing well. Tyler and Ryan first break down the number one team of the region, the New England Patriots, and their impressive blowout win over the Oakland Raiders down in Mexico City in Week 11. Was the blowout win due to poor conditioning of the Oakland Raiders (not preparing themselves for the high altitude) or costly mistakes that doomed the Raiders? Or was it because the Patriots were just the superior team, playing at a high level in all aspects of the game (especially defense)? The duo discuss that plus give a small peak about the upcoming game against the Miami Dolphins and doing their 2-Minute Drill.
Joining them are two special guests to continue the Boston sports talk.
First up is Skyler Wack of SB Nation Bruins. Does backup goalie Anton Khudobin deserve to start more games over Tuuka Rask? How have the young Bruins players fared during their playing time? Which struggling Bruins player needs to step up their performance? Skyler and Tyler discuss those questions plus more on the Bs.
Then to talk all things Boston Celtics, is SB Nation Celtics writer Bobby Manning. How impressive have the Celtics been in the early goings of the season? Are they ready to take that next step to become champions or are there still things they need to work out? Can the Celtics still ride on their defense to glory? Which player has provided the biggest surprise for the team and to fans? Bobby and Tyler discuss.
Psycho Sports #242 11/14/2017 - Well there's a big happening in the world of baseball. All this week, Major League Baseball has been distributing awards to the best players in each of their categories. However the Holy Grail of awards, the MVP award, has yet to be given but there are some pretty impressive names on each list: Jose Altuve, Aaron Judge, and Jose Ramirez for the AL MVP and then Paul Goldschmidt, Giancarlo Stanton, and Joey Votto for the NL MVP. Tyler and Ryan discuss each candidate in the awards race as well ad break the news of the NL Manager of the Year winner.
Then joining in the second half is PFW and WBOB's own Michael Parente to talk all things Patriots. With a Week 10 Showdown in Mexico with the Oakland Raiders, Parente and Tyler discuss a multitude of topics such as what players on both sides that could play an impact in the game, can Stephon Gilmore have another successful day against Michael Crabtree or Amari Cooper like he did against Demariyus Thomas in Week 9, will WR Chris Hogan and DT Malcolm Brown play or miss this game as well, and more.
Psycho Sports #241 11/7/2017 - Oh Boston, you are my home. It's a all Boston sports marathon in the latest episode of Psycho Sports. Tyler and Ryan first breakdown the red hot start of the Boston Celtics, mostly due to their very stout defense lead by the likes of PG Kyrie Irving and F/C Al Horford just to name a few as well as looking at the landscape of the Eastern Conference (with Ryan throwing some shade at the Cleveland Cavaliers .
Joining the two to continue the Boston sports talk are a couple of prominent guests.
Up first is New England Patriots reporter Meredith Gorman to talk all things Pats. How will the return of CB Stephon Gilmore affect the defense? Are there any more injuries that Pats defense fans should keep an eye out for? How did the locker room react when Jimmy Garoppolo got traded and how they welcomed in former Pats QB and Tom Brady backup Brian Hoyer)? Are the Broncos a concern in Week 10? Meredith and Tyler discuss.
Then later on, Chris Hogan of 27 Outs Baseball Radio Network popped on in to give his take on possible offseason moves that the Boston Red Sox can make. Which areas should the Red Sox shore up? What are some possible free agent targets that the Red Sox should go after? What trades the Red Sox should and should not the make? Chris and Tyler break all that down and more.
Rotunda #128 11/6/2017 - Like his Cleveland Browns, Scott Rotondo is on a bye week. So filling in for him is WBOB senior editor and host of the Cobblestone Press Kevin Aherne. Of course the big headline in the news was the Church Shooting on Sunday in Sutherland Springs, Texas. Kevin breaks that down on as well as the repercussions from it, including the ever so fun 2nd amendment debate that is going on and why politicians are dragging their feet on it.
Joining Kevin are a couple of special guests in this episode.
First is Tyler Salk, host of Psycho Sports, to discuss sports from a political aspect. The two discuss a couple of hot topics such as why the NFL ratings have been declining (kneeling during the anthem, an over saturated), what can MLB do to bring in more viewers, and much more.
Then later on, Kevin is joined by Aaron Regunberg, RI Representative (D) from District 4 and candidate for Lt. Governor. Aaron and Kevin talk about a bill that Aaron will be introducing that will lessen the utilities power grip that National Grid has on the state of RI, what was the inspiration behind the bill, and what it could mean for Rhode Islanders going forward. Aaron also talks about his candidacy for Lt. Governor for Rhode Island, including what he will do when elected, his plans to help Rhode Island, and much more. Tune in and listen
The Wild Side #329 10/24/17 - What a week in Rhode Island. What a week in the world. It's been wild. The Professor, David Clyde is back to bring order to the classroom.
Friend of the station Allan Fung announced his candidacy and our own Scott Rotondo attended and called from the announcement ceremony. What does he stand for? What will be different in his campaign this election cycle? Will Fung be the next governor? Scott and Dave discuss.

Truckin White Boy Johnny K rejoins Dave to discuss Mayor Fung’s announcement. Would Fung bring Johnny back to Rhode Island? Would another term of Raimondo drive Dave away?
Wall from the Defenders of Liberty Motorcycle Club stops by to discuss the citizens of Iran being against the terrorist run governments in some of the countries. Did they have higher expectations of Obama? Should they have?
It really has been wild, but no need to panic, because your teacher is here. The bell has rung. Class is in session.
