On tonight's episode of Psycho Sports, Parente and Co. discuss what's going on between A-Rod and Bud Selig in New York, talking Patriots football with Andy Hart of Patriots Weekly, and then Lamar Odom in Rhode Island. By Harry Dunne Brown has been okay; Bryant, mediocre; and the Rams have been passable-at-best; and the Friars of Providence College have established themselves as the face of college basketball in the Ocean State.
It was a game filled with emotion on the NFL's biggest regular season stage. A show down between a team on the rise, against a franchise that has been the standard of consistency for more than a decade. A game, on national television, that will most likely be remembered for it's controversial ending, and justly so. But it was also a game that the 74,225 in attendance at Bank of America Stadium will never forget for another reason. By Michael Parente Rob Gronkowski had no chance of catching that ball.
Neo from The Matrix wouldn’t have caught it. Neo from The Matrix with 10-foot arms wouldn’t have caught it. Neo from The Matrix with 10-foot arms and a rocket up his ass wouldn’t have caught it. If Gronkowski couldn’t even catch the Hail Mary from Tom Brady in Super Bowl XLVI that fell less than six inches from his feet there was no way on God’s green earth he was catching a ball that either a.) he overran or b.) Brady underthrew by about six feet. By Michael Parente At the risk of offending everything and everyone associated with the city of Boston, from Marathon bombing victims, to Whitey Bulger, to incoming mayor Marty Walsh, allow me to break from Major League Baseball’s regularly-scheduled Alex Rodriguez witch-hunt to focus on someone more relevant.
By Scoop Fox It’s every baseball fans third favorite time of the year: the award ceremonies. This year we saw an abundance of candidates for various categories such as MVP and Rookie of the Year early on. But as time went by, many of those candidates fell off the band wagon due to poor production or injury. The following were the ones that stayed on the longest and performed at a high peak throughout the long season. Now there are some people who are upset at the candidates who won the awards and will squawk about how this player should have won or how a player on their favorite/fantasy team should have one. But hey, it’s not an award ceremony when there are no sour grapes or controversy. Things could not get any more intense in the BCS top 25. Another big weekend of games slated that can and will shake up many program's Bowl hopes. Perhaps no game is bigger than the Nebraska, Michigan State match up. Nebraska coming off a huge victory at Michigan is hoping to derail the Spartan's Big Ten title hopes. To this point the Big Ten has been Michigan State's to loose. However this week they face a red hot Corn huskers squad in Nebraska. ABC - 3:30pm Nov 16th By Harry Dunne The Celtics are hot. Winners of four, their only four, straight games, they now sit atop the Atlantic Division. In any other era, this would be exciting news, but unfortunately this year; winning is bad for business.
