Hello to all PawSox fans everywhere. It’s another season of excitement as the boys of Pawtucket take to the diamond yet again for the 2016 MiLB season. Last year things didn’t turn out so hot for the PawSox as they finished 59-85 (.410) and missed the playoffs for the first time after 4 consecutive trips. What will this season bring? Which PawSox player will make it to 'The Show' in Boston? There's only one way to find out. RoadTrip Recap
The PawSox finished an impressive road trip this past week in Pennsylvania and in northwestern New York. They swept both the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs (4/14-4/15) and the Buffalo Bison (4/16-4/17) before taking 3 out of 4 games from the Rochester Red Wings (4/18-4/21).
Overall, the team went 7-1 during that stretch, averaging 5.6 runs per game while holding the opposition to an average of 3.7 runs per game. Where They Stand
Already in the young 2016 the Pawtucket Red Sox are ahead in the North Division of the International League at 10-6 (.625). This include a 3-5 record at home and a 7-1 record on the road. They are also currently 1.5 game ahead of both the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs and the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Railriders (both teams are 8-7 (.533) each).
