We are just more than one day into the 2014 World Cup, and already the memorable moments are beginning to stack up. On day one, the festivities began with an own goal from the host-club Brazil. Friday, the action continued with a 1-0 victory for Mexico over Cameroon. In the second match of the day however, we saw the unanimous pick for goal of the day (maybe even the tourney) with a beautiful netting from Netherlands striker Robin van Persie coming just shy of halftime against Spain.
