A comedic voice from Rhode Island for more than 20 years, Tom Stewart brings his latest opinions on today's hottest topics to WBOB through his latest video project, The Tom Stewart Project, simulcast on Youtube.
"We are incredibly excited to team up with such a consummate professional," said WBOB senior editor Kevin Aherne. "Tom captures very important topics with a twist of humor. It translates into content that not just informative, but also entertaining and insightful."
You may know Stewart as a radio DJ, having worked on-air at radio stations throughout New England including Hot 106, Coast 93.3, Star 93.7, and many others. More recently, he was known as "The Traffic Guy" on Providence's NBC 10 News on the Sunrise Show.
Today, Stewart spends most of his time on stages around the northeast working as a stand-up comedian. He has performed at the Boston Comedy Festival and was a semi-finalist in The Last Comix Standing Competition at Foxwoods Resort and Casino in Uncasville, Connecticut.
