Friday Five Alive: Christmas Commandos

It is what it is. The table hasn't even been cleared yet from Thanksgiving and we are all out fighting for the very best Black Friday deals. Acting as if we are some sort of Christmas Commandos on the hunt for gifting justice. In reality we are just well, pathetic. In the spirit of the hunt or the good fight we thought up Hollywood's rendition of the top Christmas warriors. Action heroes who's main fight coincided with the most wonderful time of the year.

Number: 5 T2
This 1991 sequel to the original Terminator is casually set around Christmas. In fact it is difficult to find picture evidence of this. Yet when you watch this Sci Fi thriller you will subtly notice the Christmas trees in the insane asylum were John Conner's mother is being held.

Number: 4  Die Hard
Perhaps the most obvious choice for this countdown. I bet you as you read the this articles headline you immediately thought of the Bruce Willis action drama.

Number: 3 First Blood
Did you happen to notice while the "good" local yocal town sheriffs were processing war hero John Rambo, all the Christmas decorations in the background? Chances are you missed that slight nod to the Christmas holiday, but it's true. Rambo First Blood took place during the Christmas season. Hopefully the good town's people have taken more of an interest this year towards are returning Vets.

Number: 2 Trapped In Paradise
The only real Christmas movie on the countdown. Although probably classifies as a romantic comedy, Trapped In Paradise has just enough action to make the list. This hilarious often over looked Christmas favorite features Nicholas Cage, Dana Carvey and Jon Lovitz through their mishaps in trying to knock over a bank. Well worth the watch and annual rewatch.

#1 Lethal Weapon
I must admit Mel Gibson & Danny Glover absolutely kill me! I love their witty banter, unbelievable action stunts and quirky jazz background music. Another great action movie that perhaps most fans simply forgot took place during the holidays.
