Whether it’s for lunch or dinner, one of the go-to places in my backyard of Smithfield, Rhode Island is none other than J’s Deli. Located off of Washington Highway, just after the Douglas Pike intersection, J’s has been pumping out sandwiches for years, all of high quality.
Occasionally, they will release a limited time only sandwich that is not on the menu. One of those sandwiches was Shredded Chicken Taco Wrap.
Currently there are two flavors of these Dunkin Refreshers. You have the Strawberry Dragonfruit and the Peach Passionfruit. Both of these drinks are infused with green tea as well as B Vitamins for the extra boost that you need to get through the day.
Of course, yours truly, had to try these Dunkin refreshers out and I must say, I am impressed by them.
Before I took my first sip, I was expecting to be overwhelmed by a high, sugary drink like their coolattas. Instead, it felt like I was drinking more of fruit juice than essentially sugar water. I could taste the natural flavors of the strawberry and dragonfruit as well as the peach and passionfruit. Both were able to go down smoothly with little to no aftertaste after each sip.
I ended up sampling both types of Dunkin Refreshers and I must say that the Strawberry Dragonfruit is my personal go-to. Not to sugary, not to bland, exactly right in my wheelhouse. I could taste the sweetness of the strawberry flavor while getting pumped by the energy from the dragonfruit.
But if you prefer to have a little more sugar flavor, go for the Peach Passionfruit. The natural sweetness from the peach mixes well with the flavor of the passionfruit.
So, if you’re looking for a quick, fruity drink on a hot day I would totally recommend swinging by your local Dunkins and picking up one of these Dunkin Refreshers. Nothing like some Dunkins on a hot day to make all your troubles go away.
