In recent months 990WBOB has worked behind the scenes to bring to you our loyal reader and fan a new visual series. A weekly video release on all things nerd culture such a video games, movie reviews and more. The man behind that project and vision for WBOB's visual future, Mr. Greg Ballard takes a moment to answer a few questions about himself and his influences. 

Who is Greg Ballard and what is your mission in the so called nerd world? 

Hi, I’m Greg and I’m the Head Editor and Founder of Redefined:MEDIA.  We create  video based content and shows  across multi platform social media. With a focus on Gaming, Emerging tech and Entertainment.  We’re excited about our current content sharing partnership with 990WBOB.COM. 


Tell us about G:R News, Gamer Redefined and Wbob TV? 

G:R NEWS is our long running weekly news show covering the world of Gaming and Modern Geek Culture. Gamer:REDEFINED is our identity and branding across the media world that encompasses all of our content offerings. 


What's your gamer to geek ratio? 

My ratio? 100/100. Gamer and Geek culture is one in the same and tends to occupy the same space in over all culture and society at this present time. 


If you could make a super hero team from all sources who would be on it?  

1. Nightwing- Born field leader and tactical specialist.  
2. Mister Terrific- genius level IQ and decathlon gold medalist. 
3. Ant man- infiltration & asset capture. 
4. Rachel Grey- Daughter of Jean Grey from an alternate timeline. Possessing all of  her mother abilities aswell as a small but powerful part of the Phoenix Force. 

You wake up tomorrow with super powers. What would they be?

Beyond Human, Enhanced speed, strength and durability. 

Favorite game of all time?

Fallout 4. Even after you’ve played thru the story and all the dlc content, the game can still feel fresh because of the amazing modding community around the game. 


What are you playing currently? 

I tend to have at least 4 games I switch in and out of for pleasure and review purposes.

2. Division 2
3. The Blair Witch
4. Generation zero

What are your predictions on the future of gaming? 

Cloud based gaming services are definitely coming. With advancements in 5g connectivity and the next generation of console’s being as powerful as Gaming computers, it’s only a matter of time before we can game any where with any game we choose. 


Most influential comic book you've ever read?

The X-men as a series has always inspired me and influenced my way of thinking. Still tryin to save a world who hates and fears them really resonated with me as a child and still has an effect on the morals of the man I am today.
