Odin's beard! Do my eyes deceive thee? Thor has now become a woman? What magic has that foul trickster Loki conjure up this time?

But in all seriousness, Marvel dropped a bombshell last Tuesday. They announced that the male character of Thor that everybody has become so familiarize will be replaced with a totally new female lead.

Marvel is no stranger in dropping these kinds of bombshells that shocked their fans (i.e. killing off Captain America, Spiderman's One More Day saga). But they may be pushing the envelope in changing one of their most iconic and recognizable characters.
