Last Saturday [12/7/13] I had the privilege to attend a special event at Rubber Chicken Comics
in Bellingham, Massachusetts. This date was circled on my calendar as it marked the
exclusive Goatman in store signing with creator Tim Vargulish. The signing took place
from Twelve to Three o'clock and many comic book enthusiasts were on hand to welcome Tim back. That’s right, for this was a homecoming celebration for one of Rhode Island’s best comedians. I was honored to catch up with Tim and found out how life has been treating him since he left the Ocean State.

It has been over a year since Tim Vargulish had left his home state of Rhode Island and set his sights on one of the entertainment capitals of the world, Los Angeles. After all, a
comedian can really thrive there, if you work hard enough, you could hit at least five open mics a night. However, Tim found another outlet to thrive on. Comic books! Since
Tim left he created the comic book Goatman and brought home seven successful and entertaining issues. Tim wrote, illustrated and produced everything that has to do with
Goatman. The future also looks bright, as Tim mentioned that there are more issues
being planned.

So just how good is this comic book? I hadn't seen or read anything Goatman since Tim left town and I was chomping at the bit to delve into his creation. I arrived at Rubber Chicken Comics
and there Tim was sitting on the stage, as he should be. All 7 issues of Goatman were
lined up and  without hesitation I purchased them all. He was even so kind as to personalize every issue for me. In addition, I also got an exclusive Goatman poster and was entered to win an extremely special edition Goatman comic featuring an illustration of “Deadpool” on the cover. Tim was saying that was an honor for him, (I really hope I win, that comic looks outstanding.)

I was impressed by the Goatman comics. Each comic is illustrated with a great cover
that simply catches your eye. The comic itself is in black and white, giving it an old school aesthetic. The story is fascinating, as you uncover the mysterious origin of the Goatman. Who is he, what is he doing here, how did he get the way he is? You know, typical super hero stuff. However, is Goatman a super hero? Find out for yourself.

Don’t delay, waste little time and head over to Rubber Chicken Comics to acquire all 7
issues of Goatman before they are gone forever. [or contact the Creator on their FB] I can tell you this, if you are an avid comic book fan like me ,you won’t be disappointed and it will enrich your life.
