Well the NFL Regular season is over and with that as the NFL Postseason is upon us. All the placings and match-ups have been set as 16 teams battle for football immortality. Now with the Chiefs not making the playoffs, is this finally the year that #JoshAllen and the Buffalo Bills bring home a Lombardi? Can #AaronRodgers capture a Super Bowl with the #PittsburghSteelers at the age of 41? Can the Philadelphia Eagles repeat? Are the Broncos and Patriots really contenders or pretenders? 
 
But at the same time as the start of the postseason, there were quite a few #coachfirings around the league. Some you could see coming like #KevinStefanski out in Cleveland and #MikeMcDaniels out in Miami, some that were perhaps a 'panic-too-soon' like  #RaheemMorris with Atlanta and #PeteCarroll out from Las Vegas, and one firing that surprised a lot of people (see #JohnHarbaugh and Baltimore). Which firings was justified? Which was unnecessary? Who will be the new coach coming in? Which recently fired coach will find another job? And how in the hell did the  #WashingtonWizards land G #TraeYoung from the #AtlantaHawks?

Well there was a bombshell of a story that struck the sports world over in Ann Arbor, MI. Head coach, now former head coach, #SherroneMoore was fired after it came to light that he was having an inappropriate relationship with a staffer. From that, he was also arrested by the police as well for trespassing on said staffer's home later on in the week. What does this mean going forward for the #Michigan football program now that got a head coaching vacancy? Will this be a distraction for the team's upcoming bowl game (assuming they don't bow out like Notre Dame did)?

And speaking of thunderstruck, former (yes you read that) #NYMets 1B #PeteAlonso struck a deal with the #BaltimoreOrioles for 5-yr, $155-million. Does this shift the dynamics for the Orioles in the AL East? Can the Mets rebound from losing their homegrown power-hitting first basemen? And what will the Boston Red Sox, who were in on Alonso as well as 1B/OF #KyleSchwarber (who re-signed  #PhiladelphiaPhillies) do now that both those sluggers are off the market?
