The Rotunda: The Big Apple and the Big Headache

The Rotunda #498 05/27/26 - While Scott is preparing for the big 500, producers Fox and Mat Carvalho step in for this week's episode of the Rotunda.

Well if you are New York Giants fan like Fox, you were in for a surprise as QB Jaxson Dart introduced President Donald Trump at a rally over Memorial Day Weekend. But it wasn't Dart's appearance at the rally that was the surprise, rather it was the fact Dart's teammate DE Abdul Carter came out on social media and criticized his QB. Was Carter out of line? Is this going to be a distraction in the locker room in the upcoming season? Are people overreacting too much if somebody is associated with President Trump?

And speaking of politics, with Election 2026 coming up, all eyes are up in Maine as the race for Rep. Susan Collin (R) seat as candidate Graham Platner is making a name with himself for the Democrat party. But with things coming to light about his anti-Semitic views, controversial Reddit posts wishing death upon U.S. Servicemen, and having a Nazi tattoo on his chest, should the Democrat party disqualify Platner for the sake of decency or are they going to go all in (see Elizabeth Warren).
