Ed Reed to the Jets

After his release from the Houston Texans veteran safety Ed Reed signed with the NY Jets today. The 35 year old is reunited with coach Rex Ryan. The two worked together for some eight seasons in Baltimore.

The highly respected defensive star, Reed was released from Houston on Wed following public criticism of the organization. His adjustment to NY should be smooth considering his history with coach Ryan. The Jets expect to have Reed in uniform for Sunday's game against Buffalo.
