The most wonderful time of the year is upon us. Once again we the fanatic college football obsessors of this nation in our many numbers are graced with a fresh new season. A chance for an impossible seasons, major upsets and the first year of the new playoff system.

To cover all this splender we called in a few experts. Thursday on our LIVE podcast Parente & Pal, we welcomed some of the most informed writers in the land.

We began with the defending champs. Editor and writer from NoledOut.com Mike Ferguson joined the show to talk about a potential Seminole repeat. The challenges a team has when it has a target on ther back and how the FSU can and ultimetly will dominate the ACC.

"The game that scares me is the Notre Dame game on Oct 18th, Louisville on a Thursday night is another" Ferguson said when asked who if any team looked frightening on the FSU schedule.

Also on the podcast was old WBOB Sports freind from PennStateLive.com Audrey Snyder. The Big Ten was up for discussion as well as the Nittany Lions. Heading into the 2014 campaign Penn State has a new coach a new outlook and brighter horizons.

"I don't think there is a Bill Obrein hangover at all," said Snyder.

She went on to discuss how new coach James Franklin's energy has excitted the young squad.

There has been no shortages of headlines in South Bend Indiana this season. Vowles discusses the football program is inpacted by the recent academic scandal. Everett Golson's return to the Irish and the players you need to watch in 2014.

"This years Notre Dame offense is going to be a lot different then the past few years, it's going to be a little more exciting" Vowles discussed when asked about Golson's role at quarterback.
