It was a beautiful, sunny Sunday at McCoy stadium as the Pawtucket Red Sox and Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs met for the finale of their weekend series. PawSox took Game 1 on Friday 6-5 while the Iron Pigs took Game 2 on Saturday 7-4. Now with Game 3, whoever won would take the weekend series.
Unfortunately for the PawSox and the McCoy faithful, the weekend series went to the Iron Pigs in a 5-3 loss in the series finale.

After 4 scoreless innings, Iron Pigs got on the board with a run in the 5th and two in the 6th to make it 3-0. PawSox battled back to tie it 3-3 in the seventh where the team had its entire lineup bat through for the second time in the series. Unfortunately the Iron Pigs got 2 more runs in the eighth to make it 5-3 and that’s where the score stood.

PawSox skipper Kevin Boles spoke with the media after the game, discussing his team’s performance for the game, including the pitching performance of start Sean O’Sullivan, the offensive display by INF Marco Hernandez, and much more.

Bonus Interview
PawSox Starter Sean O'Sullivan spoke with the media after the game as well about his performance, his thoughts about being with the team in 2016, and more.
