Going into the bye week, the Patriots were limping heavily. They had just gotten crushed against the Tennessee Titans, their offense was in shambles, and there were talks about their All-Pro Tight End a shell of his former self and ready to retire. Coming out of the bye week, they team looked refreshed, healed up, and ready to go into the Meadowlands to take on their AFC East divisional rivals, the New York Jets. But unlike going into the bye, coming out of the bye was a whole new thing.
