Giberti: Cult the Crap Nancy

​I do love politics, the process and how it all works. And that’s the thing, it has worked regardless of how “unfair” the Democrats try to paint it. Then again, the Democrats have always painted everything as unfair and, more recently, everything is now unfair with impending death and destruction.

What we have been witness to during the past four years has not been politics. The contrast between the Democrat and Republican National Conventions could have been clearer.

​If you ever wondered what it would be like to experience what a four-day bout of virtual diarrhea, the DNC was your ticket. It was four days of streaming bullshit. Democrats spewed hours of divisive and depressing rhetoric that was driven home with misleading talking points and outright lies. Liberals and elites were simply delighted, it was as if million liberal voices cried out in hypocrisy and just kept going.

We are all familiar with the Democrat double standard of scrutinizing and fact checking everything the President or any of his supporters say while refusing to be held to the same standards. You would think that as the Democrat party is presenting their case to the American people, they would at least put their best foot forward and try to come across as being credible. If you did, you would be wrong.

For instance, several times during the DNC many speakers, including Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, either directly referenced or alluded to the thoroughly debunked Charlottesville “very fine people” hoax. That’s the false claim by Democrats that President Trump had praised neo-Nazis.  

According to a new poll by Rasmussen (3% margin of error), only 39% of likely voters believe the Charlottesville “very fine people” hoax. This raises questions, such as if only 39% of likely voters believe this, why would Democrats choose to repeat this and other proven lies? Surely repeating a lie to those who already know it’s a lie isn’t going to garnish additional support, so why do it?

The next question I have is why do 39% of likely voters still believe it? The transcript from that news conference can be easily found online, so why so many?

The reason is because the truth, the actual truth, no longer matters to some people. Most of us know people who were at one time rational but have now become so detached from reality, that they willingly choose to ignore facts and instead embrace some twisted, hate filled fantasy.

A discussion about something cut and dry as the debunked “very fine people” hoax is nothing more than an argument just waiting to happen. Which is usually followed by liberals repeating some other distorted claim of racism committed by the President while also branding you a racist as well.

How did this happen and where did all this hate come from? Why do some people fight so hard to ignore the truth and embrace the lies? I have a theory.

Last Tuesday on MSNBC, in response to Monday night’s start of the Republican National Convention, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said,

“You’re the Grand Old Party… You’ve been hijacked by a cult-like group of people and others who are afraid of defying the cult leader…”

Of course, it shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone but “cult” is once again the new favorite talking point of the left and that right there, I believe, is one of the pieces to the unhinged liberal puzzle.

The Democrat party lives to divide us, separate us into little boxes, focus on what makes us different and celebrate victim-hood. For a party that claims to want unity they work tirelessly to alienate us from each other.

It’s no coincidence that the Democrat party has billed itself as all-inclusive and champions against the plight of the marginalized and the oppressed. For years the Democrat party has worked tirelessly to define us by our race, sex and sexual orientation and then labeled us victims because of it.

Any questions or concerns about any of the all-inclusive Democrat’s self-imposed segregation dogma or thoughts and ideas that are not in line with liberal doctrine, are socially unacceptable or deemed offensive are met with condemnation and expulsion. Obey and consume or be cast out. Sound familiar?

Those who do not subscribe to the liberal ideology are the enemy. They are the racists, sexists, misogynists, homophobes, xenophobes, climate change deniers and they will cause the suffering of millions before all life ceases to exist on this planet. How many times has Nancy Pelosi told us huge numbers of people are going to die?

Much of this was able to be achieved by the Democrats ability to spin a story in order to control the narrative. Before, if you treated someone differently because of their race it was considered racist. In today’s society if you don’t factor someone’s race into the equation, you’re considered racist. Social justice has justified racism. It is all backwards, right is wrong and wrong is now right, it’s detached from reality yet liberals vehemently defend the lies to the point of ending friendships, relationships and family ties. It’s good versus evil, us versus them.

Democrats love to do things and then try to blame the Republicans for them, like when they tried to blame the Trump campaign for working with Russia to rig an election when it was in fact the Democrats and the Clinton campaign that worked with Russia to rig an election. Last Tuesday when Pelosi called the Republican Party a “cult” she was doing it again.

Everyday people have been lured into cults, many without even realizing it was happening and from their perspective they’re not in a cult. Edgar Schein describes the process of coercive persuasion as a 3-stage process.

1)    Breaking the person down

2)    The indoctrination process, and

3)    Reinforcing the new identity

The Democrats have broken people down to the color of their, their genitals and who they have sex with. While those things are part of what you are, it does not define who you are and you are not a victim because of them.

The indoctrination into the Democrat party is insidious. Those of you who are recovering members of the mainstream
LGBT community know what I’m talking about. Democrats sell themselves as welcoming and tolerant of everyone, which sounds like a dream come true to anyone who’s been marginalized or oppressed. Warning, if it seems too good to be true it probably is.

Your acceptance and support from this new woke (or enlightened, which is a common theme in cults) party is contingent upon your acceptance and adherence to the cult’s doctrine. Deviation is not allowed, it’s all or nothing and will result in expulsion and group shaming. It’s us versus them, you must obey. The world is at stake.

Old ties are cut in favor of new, reality is twisted for the good of the collective and the ends justify the means. And people wonder how all the riots, violence, looting and the loss of life have become acceptable to the Democrats. According to them people are fed up, people will do what people do and necessary to confront the “systemic racism” that’s gripped our country. This was what was on full display for everyone to see on Thursday night when the RNC drew to a close, the left attacking the right as they left the convention. The end justifies the means, right?

Sounds and looks pretty cultist to me but what do I know? I’m still arguing with people over the “very fine people” hoax.
