Next, Erik goes to the Providence Bruins finishing the Regular Season with the #2 Seed and a 1st Round Bye as they await their Round 2 opponent being either the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, Charlotte Checkers, Hartford Wolf Pack, or Lehigh Valley Phantoms.
Then, Erik goes to the Boston B's having another playoff tilt against the Maple Leafs with the series tied at 1-1 due to Game 1 winning 5-1 and Game 2 losing 3-2 and he looks at the goaltender rotation situation with Linus Ullmark and Jeremy Swayman. Finally, Erik wraps it up with the Celtics battling the Heat for the 3rd straight postseason and the C's beating the hell out of the Heat thus winning Game 1 114-94 while previewing Games 2, 3, and 4 as the series shifts to South Beach over the weekend. I'm Dunn With Sports 04/17/24 - For this week's presentation of I'm Dunn With Sports which happened to be on the week of Patriots Day, Erik expresses his gratitude for why that day means a lot to him, the city of Boston and ALL of Massachusetts even New England as a whole and dissects the Red Sox struggling at Fenway after starting the season 7-3 by losing 5 of their next 7 and previewing their series with the Cleveland Guardians and their weekend with the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Next, Erik goes to the Providence Bruins who are fighting to capture the #2 Seed and get a VERY IMPORTANT 1st round bye to begin their postseason run but in order to do that, the Springfield Thunderbirds, Bridgeport Islanders, and Hartford Wolf Pack stand in their way. However on the Boston side, the B's are in a dead heat with the Panthers to take the Atlantic Division who are only a point behind them in the standings with only 2 games left against the Washington Capitals and Ottawa Senators. Finally, Erik wraps it up with the Celtics and their TREMENDOUS regular season record of 64-18 and their 1st 60 win season since 2008-09 with the quest of Banner 18 beginning this Sunday against either the Miami Heat, Philly 76ers, Chicago Bulls, or Atlanta Hawks. After that, Erik goes to the Celtics who got shocked earlier in the week blowing a 30 point lead to lose to then getting upset TWICE by the SAME TEAM being the Atlanta Hawks while rebounding HUGELY against the New Orleans Pelicans. FINALLY, Erik wraps it up with the Red Sox kicking off their 2024 Regular Season who actually didn't do too shabby by splitting their 4 games of the new year with the Mariners giving off some definite positives in the beginning of a very long season and says goodbye for 1 week as enjoys a well deserved spring break for all at WBOB |
