Bocado Tapas Wine Bar has swept its way into the hearts of Worcester locals with its authentic Spanish food, renowned sangria and rustic charm that earned the restaurant a spot on the Best of Worcester list four years in a row as well as being a TripAdvisor and OpenTable favorite. On June 20th, Bocado opened the doors of their second location in Providence, adding a long-anticipated Spanish eatery to Valley Street. Bocado is just one of the beloved restaurant concepts created by Niche Hospitality Group, which also created brands like Mezcal Tequila Cantina, The Citizen Wine Bar, Rye & Thyme American Tavern, and The Fix Burger Bar. “Bocado has been such a huge success in Worcester that we thought it was time to expand our reach to Providence,” said Mike Covino, President and CEO of Niche Hospitality Group. “We had customers driving all the way from Rhode Island just to dine with us, so we couldn’t be more thrilled to give the Bocado brand an even broader reach.” Another Bocado location is also set to open in Wellesley, MA in the fall. Just in time for the upcoming Providence Restaurant Weeks from July 6th through the 19th, Bocado will be offering up their esteemed “Bocado Experience” at the discounted price of $29.95 per person (regularly $75 for two.) A Bocado Experience for Two includes two choices of charcuterie and cheese, a sampling of four tapas plates, one paella, and churros with chocolate for dessert. Bocado will honor the special Restaurant Week price for the rest of July as well as August. This is the perfect way to truly discover all of the great cuisine that this restaurant has to offer. While many restaurants close the week leading up to Restaurant Weeks, Bocado will remain open for regular hours. Bocado will be a great dining option before WaterFire, offering a tapas experience that can accommodate any appetite. The restaurant will often feature cochinillo asado (roast suckling pig) that will be roasted over charcoal adjacent to the outdoor dining area and served family-style, complete with a chef's salad and side selection. Bocado is currently open at 4:30 p.m. every day. Outdoor dining will be available beginning in July with lunch and weekend brunch beginning in September. |
