Fast Five Entertainment Head Scratchers

What in the wild wild world of sports is a going on here? This morning a I pain stakenly began my day on the dreaded treadmill my television was stuck unfortunately on the View. A "news" talk program executive produced by the queen of news herself Barbara Walters. The show has gone through many transformations including the horrendous Rosie era. I begrudgingly admit I find the show entertaining. I mean to hear a bunch of cackling pea brains discuss today's issues 'intelligently" is almost well, cute. However this morning I couldn't help but recall my boyhood days of friction burn and slow loading Jpeg pic on the local BBS listings.

The reason for my pubescent arousal was the voice and sight of the biggest contributor of my adolescent spank bank but none other than Jenny McCarthy. If it was not for Whoopi's hideous face I may have had to start the day with a different kind of workout. Instead I pondered to myself, how the hell is Jenny even on day time television? What does she have to add to today's woman's perspective?

It is with that question that I began to dream up a few other relative entertainment industry head scratchers.

Naked Dating on VH-1 

Seriously! What a bad idea. How did this show even get pitched? If you Google Naked Dating you get some over the top game show from Japan. Made more for comedic purposes. VH-1's version atually has "real" people on a nudist beach "dating". They do activities that certainly no man would ever want to do in the nude. Such as horseback riding and four wheeling through the beache's bumpy sand dunes. This is a big weird mess!

Partners on Fox

Just when you thought the world was finally free from that pompiss bag of wind Kelsey Grammer, Fox does the unthinkable and gives him another series. To make matters worse they team him up with Martin Lawrence. The two are supposed to be law partners co existing in an office with an odd couple twist. Just the idea of those to polar opposites even attempting humor is enough to make me cancel my cable subscription 

Rice & The NFL

I'm not the biggest sports guy in the world but i do enjoy my Sunday football. However I was saddened to learn that the NFL recently suspended one of it's stars, Ray Rice for being caught on camera physically assaulting his wife. The league only suspended the "role model" for two games. That's it! this same league suspends players four game for smoking a lousy joint. 

The league needs to man up and put a zero tolerance policy in place. It is NEVER ok to throw a punch at a lady. Shame on the NFL for treating this so lightly. 

Into The Storm

Warner Bros newest summer thriller movie Into The Storm is not worth your time, In fact the major problem with this movie is I already saw it before it was even released. It was called Twister and that movie sucked in 1996 so expect more of the same in 2014. 

If you are a thrill seeker or just want to see some sick special effects, in fairness this movie has all of that. Unfortunately it also has a cast of wretched actors including the obnoxious Sarah Wayne Callies. You may remember her as Lori Grimes on The Walking Dead.

She was everything wrong with that series and plays a huge hand in the debauchery that is this flick.
