Ferro's Liquid Lunch: Shiner Part 2 - "White Wing"

As promised I continue my three part Shiner series. This week's offering comes from Spoetzl Brewery based in Shiner, Texas--their Belgian White named "White Wing".

This is wonderful summer/spring beer. I was fortunate to be able to enjoy this on a nice spring Rhode Island evening. The hints of citrus gives that feeling that summer is right around the corner. The orange peel flavor and nose are just barely there, which I enjoy, since most "summer" beers are kind of up in your face with it.

Pale lemon yellow color with a hardy head. Good crisp mouth feel with a flowery spice that's just right. ABV is 4.7%. Very easy drinking and quite enjoyable.

I'm going to give this beer a "Ferro Factor" of 4.5. My only issue, I didn't have enough, a problem soon to be rectified.
