Filmed in RI: Woody Allen's 'Irrational Man' Trailer Released

Rhode Island was invaded in the summer of 2014 by a group of very familiar faces -- namely Woody Allen, Joaquin Phoenix, Parker Posey, and Emma Stone.  They were seen out on the town, eating at Newport cafes, drinking at Providence bars, and partying with locals on Federal Hill.  The purpose of their stay, however, was to shoot scenes for the upcoming film, Irrational Man, written and directed by the infamous Woody Allen. 

The film, based in a small town college campus, tells the tale of philosophy professor Abe Lucas (Joaquin Phoenix), who finds himself in an existential crisis, but he discovers a new purpose in life when he enters into a relationship with one of his students (Emma Stone).
