Check out what's going on below: 5/20 - 990WBOB's Mondays On Blast @ The Spot 101 Richmond Street Providence, RI This week's edition of 990WBOB's Mondays On Blast at The Spot in Providence has Fly Kite Canvas, Closer Than We Appear, Here We Just Dream, The Rare Occasions and The Anchors rocking the stage. With comedy being hosted by funnyman Doug Key, a great atmosphere, wide selection of drinks, tasty food and cool pieces of art on the walls, Mondays On Blast is the perfect way to kick off your week. It's all ages and it's free so come on down!!! 5/21 - Lemuria @ T.T. The Bear's 10 Brookline Street Cambridge, MA Buffalo, NY indie-punks Lemuria will be performing at T.T. The Bear's in Cambridge, MA on Tuesday for what should be a great time. The Young Leaves, Varsity Drag and Ex- Magicians will be opening the show. Doors are at 8:3pm, it's 18+ and tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door. 5/22 - Yeasayer @ The Sinclair 52 Church Street Cambridge, MA Brooklyn new wave dance group Yeasayer will be playing a benefit for The One Fund at The Sinclair in Cambridge, MA on Wednesday. Bodega Girls, Ducktails and Camden will be opening the show. Doors open at 7pm, it's 18+ and there's a $10 donation at the door. 5/23 - The Denver Boot @ The Parlour 1119 North Main Street Providence, RI The Denver Boot will be performing at The Parlour in Providence on Thursday with The Autumn Hollow Band, The Silks' Tyler-James Kelly and Pixels for what should be the best show to catch in The Creative Capital that night. Doors are at 8pm, it's 21+ and admission is only $6. 5/24 - Bob Dylan Birthday Tribute @ The Columbus Theatre 270 Broadway Providence, RI A bunch of Rhode Island's finest acts will be performing at The Columbus Theatre on Friday celebrating Bob Dylan's Birthday in the finest way possible. Doors are at 8pm, it's all ages and tickets are $10. 5/25 & 26 - Boston Calling Music Festival City Hall Plaza Boston, MA A spectacular indie music festival called Boston Calling will be taking place in the heart of Beantown this weekend with acts like The National, The Shins, Young The Giant, Matt & Kim, Portugal. The Man, Dirty Projectors, Ra Ra Riot, The Walkmen and Bad Rabbits gracing two stages. A great way to kick off the festival season, both days start rockin' at 2pm, it's all ages and single day tickets are $75 to check out the biggest summer event in New England so far.
