Check out what's going on below: 1/28 - 990WBOB's Mondays On Blast @ The Spot 101 Richmond Street Providence, RI This week's edition of 990WBOB's Mondays On Blast at The Spot in Providence promises to be a good one with Kyle & Sean Nicholas, Clyde Lawrence, The Invisible Hours and Jeff Byrd & Dirty Finch rocking the stage. With comedy being hosted by funnyman Doug Key, a great atmosphere, wide selection of drinks, tasty food and cool pieces of art on the walls, Mondays On Blast is the perfect way to kick off your week. Along with the awesome music and comedy, it's also free. 1/29 - The Vaccines @ The Paradise Rock Club 967 Commonwealth Avenue Boston, MA British indie garage act The Vaccines will be performing at The Paradise Rock Club on Tuesday for a show that any rock & roll purist will enjoy. San Cisco will be opening and it should be one hell of a time, so definitely cross this one on your calendar for a must see show. Show starts at 8pm, ages are 18+ and tickets are $17. 1/30 - Company Of Thieves @ Brighton Music Hall 158 Brighton Avenue Allston, MA Chicago alt-rockers Company Of Thieves featuring the raw guitar sounds of Marc Walloch and Genevieve Schatz's beautiful voice will be playing a special acoustic show at Brighton Music Hall right outside of Boston on Wednesday. It should be an intimately awesome time and its an all ages show so the whole family can go. Show starts at 7pm and tickets are $15. 1/31 - Reel Big Fish @ Toad's Place 300 York Street New Haven, CT Ska legends Reel Big Fish will be skanking it up at Toad's Place in the heart of New Haven on Thursday with New York City ska-punks Pilfers and Dan Potthast opening a show that will make all the rude boys jump and shout. You better get your dancing shoes for this one folks, because it's going to get crazy. Show starts at 8:30, ages are 14+ and tickets are $23. 2/1 - Mean Creek @ Fete 103 Dike Street Providence, RI Winners of The Boston Phoenix's 2010 & 2011 "Best Boston Act" Award along with their third album Youth Companion winning "Album Of The Year" at the 2012 Boston Music Awards, Mean Creek will be rocking the lounge area at Fete on Friday that is also their first show in Providence. The Tower & The Fool, The Washingtons and The Silks will be rounding out an amazing bill chock full of great indie and blues rock so you'll have to show up early. Show starts at 8pm and tickets are only $8, making a spectacular deal to see magnificent live music on a Friday night. 2/2 - Javelin @ Machines With Magnets 400 Main Street Pawtucket, RI Indie electro-hop duo Javelin will be performing at Machines With Magnets in downtown Pawtucket on Saturday for a show that should make you move and put you in the groove. Math The Band, Downtown Boys and Huge Face will be opening up the show and it's guaranteed to be the highlight of your weekend. Show starts at 9pm and admission is $7.
