This week's edition of The Sunday Post has a bunch of shows going on in New England that are a must go for any live music fanatic that has either heard of chowder or a clam cake. Check out what's going on below: 3/4 - 990WBOB's Mondays On Blast @ The Spot 101 Richmond Street Providence, RI This week's edition of 990WBOB's Mondays On Blast at The Spot in Providence promises to be a good one with poet der Hagopian invading the stage with Valerie Poirer, Birdlady, Egg Brains and Littlefoot. With comedy being hosted by funnyman Doug Key, a great atmosphere, wide selection of drinks, tasty food and cool pieces of art on the walls, Mondays On Blast is the perfect way to kick off your week. Along with the awesome music and comedy, it's also free. 3/5 - Masta Killa @ PVD Social Club 71 Richmond Street Providence, RI Member of the world famous Wu-Tang Clan and an amazing rapper in his own right, Masta Killa will be setting the stage on fire at The PVD Social Club on Tuesday for a hip-hop show that you surely can't miss. Lyricks, Illinoise and Kid Karma are just a few other rappers that will be opening the show, and with Wu-Tang in the house be sure that there will be plenty of surprises in store. Doors open at 8pm, it's all ages and tickets are $12 in advance and $15 the day of the show. 3/6 - Indians @ Great Scott 1222 Commonwealth Avenue Allston, MA Danish indie folk pop band Indians will be performing at Great Scott in the Boston metro area on Wednesday. Night Beds and Cat Martino will be opening the show for what should be an eclectic and unique experience. Show starts at 9pm, it's all ages and tickets are $10 in advance and $12 the day of the show. 3/7 - Math The Band @ Dusk 301 Harris Avenue Providence, RI Providence electro-punks Math The Band will be headlining an epic six-band show on Thursday at Dusk for what should be a time no one should miss out on. Bearstronaut, Business Models, Holy Death, Trip Dicks and At Bay will be rounding out the bill so head on down early. Show starts at 8:30, its 21+ and it's $7 at the door. 3/8 - Drive By Truckers @ Lupo's Heartbreak Hotel 79 Washington Street Providence, RI Country-rockers Drive By Truckers will be rocking Lupo's Heartbreak Hotel this Friday with The Whigs opening up the night that guarantees a spectacular double dose of rock & roll. Show starts at 9pm, it's all ages and tickets are $22 in advance and $25 the day of the show. 3/9 - Jesse Dee @ Brighton Music Hall 158 Brighton Avenue Allston, MA One of the best soul singers out there today, Boston's Jesse Dee will be celebrating the release of his second album On My Mind/In My Heart at Brighton Music Hall on Saturday. Definitely a show you don't want to miss, you can see Jesse and his band tear up the place at 9pm, it's 18+ and tickets are $15.
