Trinity Rep has once again captured the essence of the Christmas spirit with their 35th production of holiday favorite; A Christmas Carol. Fun for all ages, this rendition of the Charles Dickens' classic has something for everyone. Warm your heart with a little song, dance, as well as a little laughter. The talented group of actors in the cast really drive the success of this performance. From the delightful young ladies who start the show by offering to shine the shoes of audience members, to the funny and warm portrayal of Bob Cratchit by Mauro Hantman, every role was well cast. Veteran actor Timothy Crowe once again graces the Trinity Rep stage with an appropriately cold and callous, yet entertaining depiction of Ebeneezer Scrooge. As a man more easily compared to Ebeneezer than Mr. Fezziwig, this writer left the show with a warm feeling in his heart. I recommend this show to families, couples, or essentially anybody who could use an extra dose of Christmas cheer.
