Wild Side #325 9/26/2017 - It just seems that nowadays politics and sports just go hand in hand. With NFL players kneeling during the national anthem and then the POTUS calling them out and saying that they should be fired, Professor Clyde has had enough and decides to lay down some Wild Side law (the only knee that's gonna be on the ground is Clyde's after he bends the NFL over his knee and gives it a good spanking).
But the biggest blend of politics & sports comes in the form of the Olympics. Joining this week's show is Austin Duckworth, contributor to Stratfor (a website for geopolitical intelligence platform) talks about the recent buzz of safety concern's about North Korea for the 2018 Winter Games in Pyeongchang, South Korea (50 miles from the North/South Korea border). Austin breaks down what is going on including past attempts by North Korea to sabotage the Olympics. Also joining on the line to give his takes on North Korea situation is former co-host of the Wild Side, Johnny K, as well as talk about what steps the US should take with dealing with the likes of Kim Jung Un and give his own opinion on the NFL players kneeling. Then the show takes a step away from sports with Farrah Prudence to discuss about what the news isn't covering: the 'comeback' of Al-Queda. What does she mean by that? Who is leading the group? Better yet...who is helping them? Farrash discusses that and more. The Wild Side #327 10/10/2017 - Has the student become the teacher? Is the teacher still the teacher? Or is a local radio legend joining the professor for a joint lecture? Special guest Tony Jones joins David Clyde in this week's episode of the WildSide.
What is the latest in the Vegas shooting? Does Dave think there's something the media isn't telling us? Does Tony think there were a lot of red flags? They might be “alternative media” but do they also cover (real) alternative stories? Why aren't we talking about ISIS becoming weaker? Tony and Dave discuss. State Representative Moira Walsh joins the duo to tell us what we need to know. What is the state doing to work on helping people who are facing addiction? Is medical marijuana increasing the addiction rate? Should we separate mental health issues from legal issues? How are Vegas residents holding up? Truckin White Boy Johnny K gives us updates on how the Clark County community is doing. The Professor and his T.A. have a lot to say. It's not everyday that you get (or want) two teachers in the classroom for the price of one. Even though it's a special circumstance the bell has rung. Take your seats. Class is in session. The Wild Side #324 9/19/17 - The world is in trouble. The state is in trouble. But one man has the solution to everything. David Clyde is here to provide you with everything you need to know to survive the snowflakes.
What have you thought of Gina’s spending plan? As we see more and more businesses close, we see more spending. Does Dave think Governor Raimondo is out of her mind? He wants answers. How much has the working world changed? Do workers respect the system? More importantly does the working man (or woman) get the respect that they deserve? Mind of Jamal joins Dave to discuss that and much more. How do Trumpettes think the president is doing. Sean Bianca stops by to discuss her opinions of recent Trumpian actions, including how the government is handling the latest of the hurricane crises. From WBOB’s Dan Bidondi show, Dan stops by to talk out the latest in the world of wrestling, including an event he will be participating in in the coming days. David Clyde is back. Wild Side # 322 9/5/2017 - It's another big week on the WildSide, as the Professor tackles it all. On (one of) WBOB’s oldest show, David Clyde is back at it again for an action packed episode.
A lot has been happening in North Korea. Should you be concerned? Should the United States do something about it? Some people can be very different on the outside but still share the same views. Hear Dave discuss how two very different people can still have a lot in common as he's joined by Will Johnson from Unite America First. There's a lot we need to be worried about. Find out how uniting as one will help. Is this the last time we'll hear from the Nicolettis? Vinnie and Margaret stop by before the Florida natives get slammed with the hurricane. Is the hurricane the main thing they're worried about, or should they be more concerned with the latest liberal agenda? They're reunited….. and it feels oh so good. Former co-host Johnny K calls in to catch up with his teacher. What's life like after Clyde? And more importantly where is Johnny? There are also special announcements from the Pal himself. If it wasn't already (it already was) this is a MUST LISTEN episode. The Rotunda #117 8/14/17 - After what can only be described as a horrific act of domestic terrorism, Scott leads off talking about the Charlottesville attack. How, in 2017, as we here? Why can we not see past skin pigmentation? Was Martin Luther King’s struggle for nothing? As if that wasn’t enough, we also have the North Korea threat to worry about. Are we really on the precipice of annihilation, a la the Cuban Missile Crisis?
Turning to local issues, Scott talks a little potential Election 2018. With Raimondo’s fundraising machine in full swing, is her reelection an inevitability? He also takes a shot at a giant of RI industry, for what he sees as extreme hypocrisy. Tune in and listen to him shoot from the lip! As an added bonus, longtime friend of the program Cameron Pond calls in to tell us about his foray into running for public office. Fans of the WildSide are going to be real interested in the last segment, as the running blood feud between Rotondo and Clyde takes another shocking turn!
