Pyscho Sports 183 9/20/2016 - Sometimes in sports, you have that inner debate with yourself on what is ethical and what is not. This goes for players (taking performance enhancers vs. not taking them), coaches (falsify injury reports or not), and even team general managers (cutting players before they are about to make their payday).
In the latest episode of Psycho Sports, host Tyler Salk and his sidekick, Ryan Fox, discuss some sport ethics on some key issues. They breakdown the latest news of NFL concussions from Buffalo Bills QB Tyrod Taylor getting taken out by ref Ed Hochuli to whether or not the NFL is really concerned with concussions on all players or just the skilled 'fantasy players' ala the quarterback and wideouts.
But the two breakdown the biggest bombshell in baseball with the suspension of San Diego Padres AJ Preller for 30 days for falsifying injury reports during the Drew Pomeranz deal with the Boston Red Sox. Was this the only time that he did that or were there or instances of this? And what was the point of suspending him for 30 days in September when his team is out of any playoff contention? Tyler and Ryan discuss. Also joining on Psycho Sports is local Patriots blogger Michael Rainone talks about the Patriots Week 2 victory over the Miami Dolhpins, specifically their QB situation (Jimmy G getting knocked out with injury and and 3rd stringer Jacoby Brissett getting the call). Will Jacoby sink or swim in the upcoming Week 3 match up against the Houston Texans on Thursday night? Michael & Tyler discuss. You better tune in or you'll miss out. Click Play to Listen
